X100P & T100P knock-off boards
Do they fall under FCC certification if they're built to the same specifications as the ones from Digium? If I build my own T100Ps from the schematics and board layouts that are available, are they legal to plug into the PSTN?

Quick questions ( maybe a little confidence building too )
...ndom hang ups, ect...While I haven't gotten obsesive with the config files, I have done some work trying to eliminate the problems. No luck yet ), and while I'm guessing that's probably due to this being a "clone" and maybe my config file, I am hoping that people with the T100Ps will give me a first hand accounting on these cards before I commit to this project. Any advice, help, suggestions ( ect.. ) are greatly apprecaited. Sean

Installation Configuration Questions
I am new to Asterisk (and phone systems for that matter) and was looking for guidance. My company is looking at installing a new phone system/PBX in our new location and I am trying to convince them to go with the Asterisk PBX. Moving up... T1 with 50 extensions
OK, I think I'm ready for the next step from the X100P. Splitting a T1 with a T100P and a channel bank/s ~ 50 extensions. I think the existing system uses NEC phones for ~34 extensions, I don't know the specific model yet of the phones or the channel bank. If the channel bank is not compatible with Asterisk/digium what brand should I be looking at to interface best with Asterisk and

Can isdn data calls routed through 2 t100p's
I have a pri comming into a t100p in my asterisk box. I have a second t100p configured as pri_net connected to a nas server. I can route modem calls to the NAS with no problem, but I am concerned about isdn data connections. Will asterisk route 64k isdn calls between 2 t100p's? Also, should I expect worse modem connections than normal? Chad Sawyer -------------- next part --------------

* as pri_net?
If you have used * to support a pri as pri_net (as opposed to pri_cpe), either to talk to another * system or a PBX of some sort, I would be very interested in hearing about your experiences. Imparticular, I would like to know that it works before I invest in the extra hardware. TIA Bruce Komito High Sierra Networks, Inc. www.servers-r-us.com (775) 284-5800 ext 115

Fw: a bit frightened, guys
Hi, I believe the issues raised by this message are the same as mine, more on a commercial sense than for self use, but mostly the same. I've seen posts where real-life installations are mentioned, but not a reference to how Asterisk is working on production (and productive) environments. Any experiences would be very welcome I believe, not only on pure technical, but wider, sense. Thanks
