Please find attached files to implement (much of) Wx::SystemSettings for
wxruby2. I really just wanted to be able to get screen width and screen
height, but there''s lots of other stuff there too; the sample file

strange dropping of Word.doc-attachements - sendmail dovecot RHEL4
...ets deliverd, but the attachement is dropped.
This happens using the latest thunderbird 1.5.x and mac os x. The e-mail
is also not saved in the send-drawer. If the users send the same e-mail
to the same recepient using an other mailclient, there is no problem.
Other users (like me) using the same systemsettings and software
versions don't have the problem.
The server is RHEL 4 (2.6.9-kernel), sendmail 8.13.1 and dovecot 0.99.
We use Mailscanner and spamassassin too, but as only the two users do
have the problem I'm looking for some help to track this problem down.
Any ideas??

I am making a full-screen app that I want to stay on top (to re-create something similiar to this app: http://hogbaysoftware.com/products/writeroom for a multi-platform use.) however, I am running into a strange issue.
If I use this:

I would need a popup window like this (not necessarily associated to a

Conflicts between kde and wine games - workaround
...worked almost perfectly (the friend/foe rings still don't show up, but that's a minor issue).
What I found is that if compositing "screen effects" are turned on in kde-4.2 or higher, there are major video problems with the game. Those problems go away if the "effects" in SystemSettings>Desktop>EnableDesktopEffects are turned off. This is a little surprising, because gnome also uses compositing effects, but I believe that gnome uses compiz, while kde has its own internal effects drivers. It's also odd that other games seem to work fine in kde with effects turned on; not...

kde 4.3 beta 2, compiz 8.2 - panel pager doesn't work until plasma crash and restart
Listmates,
Woking with compiz 8.2 on kde 4.3 beta 2 on Archlinux, the plasma "kicker"
pager widget does not work correctly after compiz 8.2 is started. Before
compiz is started you see the 4 small desktop representations stacked 2x2.
After you start compiz, the panel only shows a single large pane 'Desktop 1'
no matter what desktop you are on.

percentage bars.
This hasn't annoyed me enough (yet) to get me to look into what's
causing it or how to fix it. It doesn't happen when the laptop is on
AC power. It might be a simple matter of configuring it appropriately in
systemsettings power management controls, but I never bothered...
Or maybe your problem is caused by something else... :-)

Centos 6 - Networking: Some Queries -- GURUS HELP PL
With NM_Controlled=No in the ifcfg file, NM applet shows "Not Managed", so
the ifcfg file is being read. What is the extent of interaction of
NetworkManager with ifcfg files is unknown....very little information on
the net. Seems Network Manager is still mostly unplublished compared to
other utilities. Any pointers to literature on this or macro architecture
of NM would be appreciated,
