A couple of CentOS 5.1 issues
.../kermit was provided by the package ckermit in the base repo. That package appears to be no longer available. Any ideas where I could find a suitable replacement? Second (and this is probably OT), I use the binary nVidia driver and the keyboard and mouse sharing utility Synergy (http:// synergy2.sourceforge.net, a fantastic utility without which I would be so much less productive). Anybody ever done 6 monitors on one server before? :)
My boss wants to put together a Network Operations Center, with a network monitoring server as the centerpiece. He wants that server to have 6 monitors: 4 for network monitoring tools (rrdtool, etc) and two for running commands and the like (ping, traceroute, etc). I know that with the right video card(s) you can have two monitors, but has anybody had 6? Thanks! Ben
