Syncpeople Plugin Scope Never Active
I installed the Syncpeople textmate bundle (
http://syncpeople.com/downloads/syncpeople_on_rails_features ) and the
commands all work from the menu, but the short-cuts never work for any
of the snippets or commands ever work, because the scopes are not
being selected properly. If I change the scope to just "source.ruby&...

Textmate Rails Plugin Cheat Sheet
...ickly. So, if
you''re using Textmate and, like me, can''t remember all the handy
shortcuts and tab triggers, feel free to download the pdf I put
together:
http://feldpost.com/lighthaus/textmate_rails.pdf.
Feel free to repost it if you find it any useful.
This relates to the syncPEOPLE on Rails 1.0 bundle, which now comes
standard with Textmate (if you haven''t recently updated your textmate
bundles, you can also download the latest bundle here: http://

If you''ve only used this Rails bundle casual...

TextMate: syncPEOPLE on Rails Bundle Becomes Built-in Rails Bundle
It?s official, folks!
After talking with my partner, Greg Narain, as well as Allan Odgaard,
the creator of TextMate, we (syncPEOPLE) have decided to release our
Rails bundle under the MIT license so that it can nest itself nicely
within its new home, the TextMate Subversion Bundle Repository.
What this means for the rest of us is that all of these great
features we?ve been madly developing are going to be available as th...

syncPeople on Rails TextMate Bundle
The "Controller to View and Back Again" announcement was cool, but
wait till you see this:
http://blog.inquirylabs.com/2006/02/18/the-syncpeople-on-rails-bundle-
for-textmate/
Installation is *much* easier, and the features are even cooler. ;)

.08Fast .8Furious (syncPEOPLE TM Bundle update)
syncPEOPLE (of which myself and Duane Johnson make up a part) would
like to brag about the newest TM bundle, now with .DMG and patent
pending (or not) QuickDrag installer technology.

jEdit Snippets for Ruby on Rails
...uby on Rails
-----------------------------------------------------
I thought I''d "give a little back to the community" and whip up some
SuperAbbrev files for ruby and rhtml that mimic all of the Textmate
Rails bundle snippets.
Note: This was totally inspired by Textmate and the syncPEOPLE Rails
plugin for Textmate. So thanks to you guys for being awesome. I just
thought I''d see how close I could get.
And why not, lets take it a little beyond the Textmate rails snippets,
and throw in a few more that seem useful and obvious.
Basically, on the RHTML side, there is a TON of a...

MASC = A New Way to Use Textmate Snippets
Just thought I''d announce this on the Rails list since I know several
of you use Textmate: there''s a new feature I''m calling "Multiple
Arbitrary Simultaneous Carets" or MASC for short, which is available
in my personal TM bundle. It''s been handy enough for me that I
thought others might enjoy it.

BundledResource plugin (0.7)
Hot on the heels of my previous announcement, there is now a
bundled_resource plugin that takes advantage of all of my previous
work at syncPEOPLE (http://syncpeople.com) in the area of resource
management during Rails development, plus some. Use the Dynarch
Calendar, the resizable/wordcount textarea tools, and the qForms
scripts without the pain. More resource bundles to come, I''m sure.

TextMate for Rails development -- why?
Greetings,
I am curious, I see quite a few references to using TextMate for
rails development. I downloaded TextMate and used it for 30 days. I
do not see what everyone is raving about. Snipplets are nice, but
other editors do the same thing, some with much more power.
Can anyone tell me what makes people draw to TextMate? Maybe I am
missing the whole reason, I''d really like to

Convince me to buy TextMate!
I got a Powerbook recently and am debating buying TextMate. I installed
the trial and have checked it out, but don''t see what''s so great about
it. AFAICS it''s the Ruby and Rails macros for expansion and other stuff
that might be it. Other than that, TextMate seems like a pretty basic
editor. I currently use PSPad and Editplus, and I could probably
get/make macros
