You're quite right - I added a little note there to warn others now.
It's a great Wiki anyway, just these little inaccuracies or
misunderstandings every now and then...

Persistent variables disappear when dialingLocal extension
...with the stable
version? I.e. pass call-specific variables when dialling through a Local
channel. Now I can only see the original Caller ID and the destination
extension, but not the "other" destination extension of the forked call,
which might suffice for my purposes.

One idea is to add all possible incomplete versions of each term to the
document's term list. For the term 'welcome' we'd also add 'Sw',
'Swe', 'Swel' ... 'Swelcome'. That way we can adjust the user's query
to insert the prefix on the final word and then search via a standard
phrase search. Not sure what the performance or index size implications
of this might be, but we'd be willing to have a shot if this is a good
approach.
Any advice would...

Attendant configured AutoAttendant
Anyone have a user configured auto attendant setup? Something that can
be used without the * admin helping to make changes.
Something where the operator can record the message like 'press 1 for
john, 2 for bill, 3 for jean' and then the operator can enter the
extension that gets dialed when the caller presses 1 or 2 or 3?
This would be useful if Bill leaves the company, the operator can
