Swaping out phones.
I have a quick question. I am using Asterisk 1.4. I have a user that has changed phones (grandstream budge tone 200 to a polycom 330). I have changed the sip.conf and extensions.conf. I have also unplugged the old phone and plugged in the new phone. I get the ext showing on the phone, but when I do a sip show peer 5000 the old ip address and phone show up. I did a sip reload and a dialplan reload.

uidswap
.... From what I gathered , ssh installs as setuid root and swaps ids when reading potential key files that may be read only by root. Also , I think when binding to a privileged port ssh swaps id. Is that so? What are the consequnences if you do not install ssh setuid root? ( As far I as know no uid swaping occurs ) Thanks Doug Chimento

swap
Hello everybody,   I wonder if there is any swap function in R that does the following: x <- seq(1,10,12) x1 <- swap(x) x1 1 8 3 4 5 6 7 2 10 Thank you very much!   Amor __________________________________________________ Schutz gegen Massenmails. [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

LLVMBuildLandingPad is wrong on 3.7
Hi all, During the dev in between 3.6 and the release of 3.7, the personality function was moved from the landingpad to the function itself. During theses events, LLVMBuildLandingPad was changed, twice. The first time in a backward incompatible way, the second in a backward compatible way. As things are now, the backward incompatible way is in 3.7 and the backward compatible in master. Meaning

Macbook DHCP issue.
...OSX's confusing way of telling you that you didn't get a real address. I've poked around at everything I can think of and can't figure it out. Running linux box to linux box works just fine and DHCPs an address just fine. I upgraded to the latest version of TINC. I've tried swaping my Mac tinc config to switch, hub, and none with no change. I've tried connecting and being connected to the main linux box. I've tried going over the TCP dump with no luck. Has anyone seen this before? Any resolution? Thanks for taking the time to read this and for any suggestions....

Script to convert mboxes to maildirs?
...ldirs? I'm moving from an old pop3 system to imap and after installing about half our office with mboxes have found that mbox does not support subfolders which some people like to use. Is there any simple way of converting? I can go to each individual account and "manually" convert swaping data around with Firefox, but I was wondering if there was an easier way. Thanks. __________________________________ Discover Yahoo! Stay in touch with email, IM, photo sharing and more. Check it out! http://discover.yahoo.com/stayintouch.html

Rsync 2.4.6 and Hammerd CPU's
...few thousands images is all that rsync must move. The directory structure where the images live are broken down into a shallow and somewhat wide tree with a few thousand images in each directory The problem... When rsync seems to to build the list of files, seems OK, uses about 20meg of ram (not swaping either). Then when the files start to be moved (all around 2-4k) the cpu's (4x 500 xeon) all run 100% and kill any Http trafic that need also to be running on the box. This would be ok if on the Source factory box, but not on the web servers. The interesting thing is that is does not matter if...

mdct.c optimization
I took function mdct_butterfly_8 and write out transformation matrix. Then I rewrote this matrix into sequence of additions and substractions (see attachement). As I suspected I got the same as in the original code but I swaped some rows to get little higher speed. I hope I'll do the same with 16 point butterfly function combined with 8 point butterflies in a month. Who still believe that this

USB boot problems on Gigabyte GA-M55Plus-S3G
...t know how to go on. I await your further recommendations. However this is not looking good at all. (And strangely, the more I do things that should cause it to work better, the less far the booting process actually seems to get.) Regards, rfg P.S. I may perhaps try a different USB stick, try swaping main memory, and perhaps even try swaping out my graphics card. I use only good quality name brand components, but you never know.

astonishing memory phenomenon
...See "help(Memory)" on how to increase the heap size. Furthermore the last x successfully created should contain data of size 700000*4096 Bytes corresponding to 700000*4096/1024/1024 = 2734 MB, which is impossible given the startup memory, impossible given RAM, impossible given that no swaping occurs, furthermore the OS (WinNT4) never shows any additional memory eaten up except that taken at startup. What's going on? Regards Jens Oehlschlägel-Akiyoshi > version _ platform Windows arch x86 os Win32 system x86, Win32 status major 0 minor 90.1 year...

degraded performance under domain login load
Hi guys, Not sure how to diagnose this problem however i have recently upgraded one of my schools sites from gentoo to freebsd which moved us from samba 3.0.14 to 3.0.21b and the first thing I noticed was when the students came to login if they all logged in at once the performance of login was crippled to a near standstill! As a test i swapped in the gentoo box and forced the upgrade to

ca.po Pz test question
Hello, I have a few questions about & Ouliaris Unit Root Test of type Pz 1) I noticed that critical values given in the article "Asymptotic properties of residual..." by Phillips and Ouliaris are different from those given by R. More presicely - they are swaped with each other. Could explain why? 2) that question is quite stupid. Can you explain what coefficients for test Pz mean?

Serial Ports and syslogd
...ke" syslogd, and try to restart it, it eventually dies with "waiting for child" messages and my sendmail hangs. Syslogd comes back alive after reboot. I'm just logging locally with -s -s for flags to syslogd. So, I find a few discussions saying fsync() may be the reason, and try swaping syslogd with this line removed in syslogd.c (without being very good at C) and knowing full well, I'll loose the most important, last few lines of logs when my machine dies. Still no help. /*flags = ISKERNEL | SYNC_FILE | ADDDATE;*/ Anybody using serial without any logging problems? Or is th...
