[Gluster-devel] GlusterFest Test Weekend - 3.5 Test #1
Incidentally, we're wrapping this up today. If you want to be included in the list of swag-receivers (t-shirt, USB car charger, and stickers), you still have a couple of hours to file a bug and have it verified by the dev team. Thanks, everyone :) -JM ----- Original Message ----- > On 12/05/2013 09:31 PM, John Mark Walker wrote: > > Greetings, > > > > If you'...

Ongoing Samba Errors
Greetings We just updated two RH9 servers to 3.0.14a-1 and are still seeing a lot of errors in the logs. They're not stopping us working but I would _really_ like to understand what is causing them. On the first server, in the logwatch, we get a whole swag of: samba: Unknown Entries: session opened for user janicer by (uid=0): 6 Time(s) session opened for user sonjap by (uid=0): 8 Time(s) session opened for user heatherf by (uid=0): 1 Time(s) session closed for user georgev: 122 Time(s) session closed for user heathe...

Workshop for Good - May 20/21, Washington DC, $400, Benefitting Public High School
...Dave Thomas has graciously offered us copies of the Rails book which is totally awesome. We would love to find additional sponsors who might be interested in covering things like: a) speaker transportation/hotel costs (~$800), b) lunches for everyone (~$600), c) door prizes (software? hosting? swag? etc), d) t-shirts (~$350), e) attendee happy-hour/dinner, e) other ideas. In exchange I''ll be adding "sponsor" links/icons to the website and will include them on any swag that we create. 4) Other contributions? If our idea is compelling and you''ve got something e...

Authorization to use CentOS logo in GNOME Boxes
People, Firstly, sorry for the cross-list post (centos-devel and centos-docs). I'd like to reach you in order to ask for a formal authorization to use CentOS logo on GNOME Boxes[0]. GNOME Boxes already shows a few other distro's logos as you can check here[1]. Would be possible to get the explicit confirmation that we could use CentOS logo as well? [0]:

Open SSH End-of-Life Schedule?
...clarification on. In the end if a security bug came out, having a clear EOL policy lets you clearly tell your user-base when to expect versions will be retired and no longer taken care of. The longer the tail on software fixes the more effort it will take and technical debt you?re maintaining. Swag Example: We provide fixes only for the latest releases of the last two major versions. e.g. 8.X, and 9.X. Once 10.X, comes out, we stop supporting 8.X, etc? I am not asking for a year commit, just trying to understand what the community feels like would be a good level of backward porting of f...

[CentOS-devel] Authorization to use CentOS logo in GNOME Boxes
...g this thread in the hopes that we can get an official opinion from someone on the board. In particular, the guidelines at https://wiki.centos.org/ArtWork/Brand/Logo seem to indicate that we're not supposed to use the logo without the wordmark, but we do that all the time, even on official swag.
