[LLVMdev] migration to SubVersion successful or delayed?
Dear All, according to http://llvm.org/SVNMigration.html the repository migrated to SubVersion (svn) on june 5th 2007 (almost 10 days ago). Did the migration happened as expected? http://llvm.org/releases/ still mention CVS, and nothing on http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#checkout suggest to switch to svn instead of cvs. What is the curr...

[LLVMdev] llvm/projects
I didn't see anything on http://llvm.org/SVNMigration.html, but I'm assuming that llvm/projects has moved to llvm/examples. Is that correct? If so the documentation in http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html will need to be updated. In particular, the getting started doc talks about checking out llvm-test to llvm/projects. Also, I'm...

[LLVMdev] CVS Branches To Discard?
...s by only keeping branches and tags that we really need. This gives us an opportunity to clean up some "dead wood" too. Obviously, I don't want to do this without your feedback (loosing your needed branch/tag would be bad). So, please consult the SVN Migration page, http://llvm.org/SVNMigration.html. This lists the branches and tags we have currently and whether they are scheduled for deletion or inclusion. If you think I've categorized something incorrectly, please let me know ASAP! We'd like to get this finalized over the next few days. Thanks in advance for your help, Reid.

[LLVMdev] Subversion Conversion: June 5th, 2007
All LLVM Developers: This is your notice that the LLVM project is converting from CVS to Subversion for its software repository. The conversion will happen on June 5th, 2007 unless otherwise notified. Please see http://llvm.org/SVNMigration.html for full details. We had hoped to have the conversion done by now, but a number of factors made it prudent for us to delay for a few more weeks. There is a lot happening with LLVM in the next few weeks (release 2.0, Developers' Meeting) and the people doing the conversion had schedule con...

We can't postpone it for long, however because we have an upcoming release (2.0) in a few weeks and this needs to be settled before then. http://llvm.org/SVNMigration.html Thanks, Reid.

[LLVMdev] 2.0 Release Process
The release branch has been created and the llvm-gcc mirror updated (thanks Bill!). I will be doing some preliminary testing before I request the help of the community to test the release. During this time, I ask that developers only commit documentation changes to the release branch and email the list with any bug fixes that need to be merged into the release branch. Bug fixes have to be
