nbdkit Assertion `h->can_flush == 1' failed on Arch
...81 reports that tests-parallel-nbd.sh hangs. Looking at the log file from the test reveals: nbdkit: backend.c:523: backend_flush: Assertion `h->can_flush == 1' failed. I've attached the full log. Message from Wine: IOPL not enabled (again)
Hi, on a dual boot laptop I have winXP and Debian sid/squeeze x86_64 installed. Wine is version 1.0.1. WinXP partition is NTFS and mounted read-only under Debian. I have used winecfg to attach the NTFS partition to my drive E: and use winefile to navigate to the microsoft office 11 binaries on E:. Both winword.exe and excel.exe reports the famous IOPL not enabled message. I have not installed any

Steam Games Don't Work. Please Help!
I bought a new computer for myself, and installed Kubuntu on it. I installed Steam on it, bought the orange box, tried to run TF2, and it didn't work. [nbdkit PATCH 0/4] Fix testsuite hang with nbd-stadalone
Either patch 1 or patch 2 in isolation is sufficient to fix the problem that Rich forwarded on from an archlinux tester (name so I can credit them?). But both patches should be applied, as well as backported to appropriate stable branches, to maximize cross-version interoperability of nbdkit vs. plugins. Patch 3 will let us detect future similar bugs much faster. I want patch 4 to ensure that
