help with heatmap - how to remove annoying "X" before numeric values?
...t seems to come automatically before my
numeric column values? I just want those columns to be labeled 1905, 1910,
1950, and so on. I cannot find anything in the heatmap.2 documentation that
suggests how I should do this.
Thank you very much for your time, and patience in reading this!

Barplots

Can anyone tell me how to label individual bars on a barplot? I want to put an "*" or letter ABOVE the bar to denote statistical significance. Is this possible and how?
Thanks,
Suzanne

Mapping Samba Drives (Samba Digest 1721) (Suzanne George)
Hello happy Samba People,
I use the following trick for mounting my Samba Maps at start-up at my
WIN NT Workstation 4.0 (hate this beast).
I use the logon Scripts that could be used by WIN NT. (See Directory :
\system32\repl\import\scripts).
You should give the file a "good" name (I use my Login Name for that
(SVEN.BAT)).
Then I use the "net use" in the Script for ex. :

Summarizing levels for future commands
...s there anyway to get R to determine the most frequency of 'levels' in an object and then use a specific one in future functions? I couldn't find it in my search through the manual or the r-help archives.
I hope what I am attempting to do is clear, let me know if it isn't.
Thanks,
Suzanne

Has anyone figured this out?

Nested anovas
Hello,
Is anyone out there doing nested anovas? I'm familiar with the notation to designate the nesting in SAS but can't seem to find any for R. How can I specify the nesting levels?
Thanks,
