What raises my doubts here is that I need to use the demoted server as a
member server, and I would need to keep its name because it hosts the

smbldap and samba as a PDC
Hi people, I have a problem with samba, openldap and the creation of machine
accounts.
I don't know if here is a good place to ask but I don't receive help in
other places.. I read many guides, howto's, etc. but
I can't get around with the solution...
I have seen an older message to another list (mail.gna.org) asking for the
same problem that I have, it was:

Using mkdir from rsync
Hi all,
When using rsync to copy a full directory path to another machine in
my network, like dir1/dir2/dir3/, mkdir fails because it have to
create dir1 and dir2 prior to dir3, non of the 3 directories exist in
the remote machine, so mkdir needs the -p option to do that, my
question is: is there any way i can tell mkdir use the -p option when
invoking from rsync?

How do you format a command line that needs < >
and they are not meant to redirect anything they are part of an email
address.
command -f "Some Email <someemail at somedomain.com>" -x -y -z

Hello folks, today(08/13/2009) I've downloaded the latest wine git
repository.
After that I tried to apply Alexander's current USB support patch named:
"0001-Add-support-of-native-Windows-drivers-for-USB-tokens"
When git started applying your patch I received the error message above:

where to put code for my own paginator ?
I had to make my own pagination class in SQL Server. What I am
wondering is where is a good place to put the code so that every
controller and template can have access to it ?
Right now I have put it in application.rb, the controller base class.
This seems to work well, I did a project last summer where I put stuff
in the lib directory. The only problem with that is that if you change
any code at

Building PHP PECL modules
I'm attempting to build some PECL modules on fully updated CentOS 4.2
system. Preferably pack them into nice RPM packages. However, seems
I'm missing something. For example, this is what I get for sqlite module:
$ pear makerpm SQLite-1.0.3.tgz
`phpize' failed
The php-devel package is installed (so I do have phpize command). It's
just that it is failing. If I unpack the

One Remaining Issue Regarding 2.4.0
I believe that 2.4.0 is about ready to be sent out the door. I''ve made a
couple of small changes since RC2 but I don''t believe that they warrant
another RC.
There remains the issue of what to do about support for Shorewall 2.0 given
that 2.2 has only been available since March.
It would be my recommendation to make 2.4 the new "stable" release but
