Running mailfront under dovecot2.x service supervision
Hello, I'm trying to run mailfront SMTP (http://untroubled.org/mailfront/) under Dovecot 2.x process/service supervision My intention was to utilize the fact that dovecot2.x seems to have some kind of generic process/service supervision as well as builtin ssl support. But I cannot get the most simple generic service setup (without ssl) to work. Currently running dovecot 2.0.11 on FreeBSD

Budgetone Supervised Transfer
Hi. I was wondering if there's a way to do supervised transfers on the budgetone 102 . Blind works ok, but can't do supervised. I thought that with the flash button that could be possible, but seems I'm wrong .... matteo.

Supervised transfers
I've seen a lot of traffic on the list recently about which phones can do supervised transfers and which cannot, and I have to admit that I'm a bit puzzled. Our existing PBX, which is software based, handles the transfer functions for our call center -- the agents never touch their phone, and instead use software. We can plug any old phone into it, and it'll work just th...

far end disconnect supervision
I'm starting to shop for my first channel bank and one of the features that eveyone seems to recommend is "far end disconnect supervision". What other terms do various manufactures use to describe this same feature ? Is "calling party disconnect" the same as "far end disconnect supervision" ? Thanks

DAHDI disconnect supervision timing
Ok so this is officially driving me crazy. I have an Asterisk 1.6.1.6 install with DAHDI/DAHDI tools (latest) and an OpenVOX TDM400 card with 1 FXO port and 1 FXS port. I have a POTS line from my phone company attached to the POTS line. I have asked for "disconnect supervision" to be provisioned on my line and they claim to have added it. However, my scenario is as follows: I receive a

Disconnect Supervision UK / BT solution?
Hi all I'm using sangoma a200 cards in the UK and have the ongoing, often noted problem of disconnect supervision with BT POTS lines. Just noticed this post on http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/UK+Asterisk+Details stating that potentially someone's got a solution : "TDM400P & Not Detecting Hangups: Got a TDM400P installed and having problems with Asterisk not detecting

CallerID after Supervised Transfer
Is there a way to keep the incoming CallerID from the PSTN and pass it onto the sip phone receiving the supervised call transfer? The receptionist receives the PSTN callerID, performs a supervised transfer, we get her local SIP callerID, not the original callers. The main reason we would like the true callerID is for asterisk monitor to name the file correctly for call records. Is this possible wit...

Supervised/Attended transfers
Hey all, I've been trying to get supervised transfers working without success. I'm currently running 1.0.7-stable and think it might be a version problem. Is the supervised transfer feature available in 1.0.7 or do i need to suck down a new version from CVS? Otherwise, apart from setting up features.conf, is there anything else i...

Supervised call transfer problem
...uni.it) If a call reachs Asterisk through the SIP carrier, then it is forwarded to the external SIP proxy extension (530 at weboffice.dyndns.org), when the extension 530 that has answered the call tries to transfer the call to another extension (513 at weboffice.dyndns.org), the attendand (or supervised) transfer fails while the unattendandt (or direct) transfer works. Basically the errore I have is Supervised transfer requested, but unable to find callid 'f1d4a57c-f11e291e-22ed860d at 2.168.1.230'. Both legs must reside on Asterisk box to transfer at this time. Is there a w...
