Hi,
After removing and masking on 19 sep 2016 the KB3167679 the same problem happens.
The fix KB3167679 seems now superseeded by KB3175024.

That still assumes the appliance is reading the same type of event log
(because the eventlog RPC service was superseeded by eventlog6 and the
WMI thin, which is the reason I asked for details).

Hi All,
Our users started having issues late last week when trying to change their
passwords. They receive the following message:
"The system detected a possible attempt to compromise security. Please
ensure that you can contact the server that authenticated you."
Client computers are running Windows 7 Ultimate & Enterprise x64. We are

smbldap-populate failure
dear list,
I'm trying to migrate nt4 to samba3, and have two issues at the moment.
First is: I'm getting two (small?) errors using smbldap-populate on my ldap
database. At first I tried ignoring this, but now also rpc net vampire
complains. (maybe because of this..?)
This is the output of smbldap-populate:

eventlog functionality
Yes, after further research the solution could possibly be to create a python script to monitor the json output in log.samba and push out eventlog formatted events to 'Security' with eventlogadm. Seems a lot of work.
The appliance in question also supports getting the necessary info via the netapi call "netsessionenum" I have tried that and a wireshark dump shows samba replying

Sorry, you are confused and your reply does not make any sense.
RHEL's current major release has minor version 8. It does not matter
that my command outputs come from CentOS 7.8.
RHEL 7.4 is EOL, came out in 2017 and superseeded by plenty of important
updates. Such a system is at high risk.
Please inform yourself before posting such snarks comments.

R 3.3.0 for Debian jessie on the way to CRAN, not for wheezy
Dear all,
I have just completed the backport of the newly released R 3.3.0 to Debian
jessie for the CRAN repository, together with the usual update of the other
(recommended) packages supplied there.
It will hit the CRAN mirrors shortly.
For wheezy, I do not plan to backport R 3.3.0, as this would entail
backporting, and keeping up to date with security releases, a couple of other
packages,

mongrel_simple_service.rb problem
Hi,
This must be a newbie problem. I''m running XP SP2.
I installed mongrel with gem, and attempted to run the example
mongrel_simple_service.rb (unmodified) in SciTE.
The script runs for about 10 seconds and then stops giving the following
output:
>ruby mongrel_simple_service.rb
>Exit code: -1073741819
(0xfc0000005)
Can someone give me a clue as to what I''m doing wrong

${version} is the Fedora $releasever (9 or 10 right now).
Also note that /data/os/distr/fedora is a local, full mirror and that
/data/os/archive/fedora is a local, full archive (with package files
that have been removed from the mirror because for example they've
expired and have been superseeded by another update to said package).

[PATCH 0/2] drm/gk20a: FB fixes
Fix a very shameful memory leak and a compilation error due to the use of
non-exported CMA functions. The workaround for the latter is not really elegant
(replace the CMA functions by a runtime failure if we are compiled as a
module), but is temporary and still an improvement over the current situation
(compile error).

[PATCH 0/4] tegra: DMA mask and IOMMU bit fixes
These 4 patches fix two issues that existed on Tegra regarding DMA:
1) The bit indicating whether to use an IOMMU or not was hardcoded ; make this
a platform property and use it in instmem
2) The DMA mask was not set for platform devices. Fix this by converting
more pci_dma* to the DMA API, and use that more generic code to set the
DMA mask properly for all platforms.
