Support for tags in speex files?
...-style comments (ie. similar to Ogg Vorbis files). Thanks, that is nice, but you left me with a question: is it possible to have speex files in an ogg container? I looked a bit on the documentation of speexenc and could find no mention of it (I'm using Debian's testing distribution and the superb easytag as a tag manager). > speexenc --comment "MOOD=Happy" speech1234.wav speech1234.spx Does this mean that, in case I wrap the file into an Ogg container, it will have two layers of "containment"? Thank you very much for your kind answer, Rog?rio Brito.

Josh Coalson, you rock!
...moving me to comment: In this great free software world we live in, it is rare to find a project so well researched, designed, executed, and presented as FLAC. It fits my needs beautifully, aligns with my political interests, and has been rock solid reliable for me. Even your web site for FLAC is superb in its organization and clarity. Josh, thank you for leading the way and for making such a solid contribution. I hope other free software projects will look to FLAC as a model for inspiration.

MailScanner With One vs Two Postfix Instances
...Note that the /etc/init.d/MailScanner script still references both an in and out Postfix instance; however, in looking at the code, once /etc/postfix.in is gone/renamed the "in" startup action becomes a no-op. I should also point out that there is absolutely NO implied criticism of the SUPERB guides Johnny has put out. I have found them to be extremely helpful -- thanks, Johnny! Regards, Kennedy

3 new CentOS sponsors
I would like to take the time to announce 3 new CentOS sponsors. Each of these 3 providers have donated a dedicated server and bandwidth to the CentOS project within the last couple days: Hostasaurus Web Hosting: http://www.hostasaurus.com/ CrystalTech Web Hosting: http://www.crystaltech.com/ Superb Internet Corporation http://www.superb.net/ I can highly recommend all of the above 3 groups as I have worked closely with all 3 over the last couple days (and they were giving me a server, I'm sure they are even more responsive to paying customers :). packet rate limiting
Hi, I''m currently looking for a QoS extension that allows to limit the packet rate to a given value. As I''m using HTB at the moment bandwidth limiting works pretty well but packet rate limiting would be superb. I do traffic shaping on a firewalling bridge (2.4.21) using iptables mark and HTB. Outgoing calls via Sipgate

If anyone could take a look and show me what needs adding in order for outgoing calls to work, that would be superb! My long term goal is to get asterisk running at home, and then persuade the boss to ditch the Avaya setup we have at the office. But since I'd likely be the one implementing it, I want to try and get something working before I commit myself :) Thanks!, Dave. [1] http://files.davehope.co.u...

Puppet on busybox, Bob Hope or No Hope?
When I say busybox it''s actually VMware ESX server which seems to use busybox (which I guess is the case a number of other software appliances) . Reason for wanting to install puppet is to run the cli tools to create nightly vmware snapshots. I''m happy to give it a go (and add the docs to the wiki) but I''m not too sure at this stage how big a task this might be and what,
