I have been having a problem with my icecast server running on CentOs. Occasionally, the service will stop running, but it will fail to restart because the subsys is locked. If the service stops, I need to manually log into my VPS, delete the empty file in /var/lock/subsys and restart the icecast service. I can remove the /var/locl/subsys/winbindd file to clear the subsys locked message but this does not chnage the winbind crash problem.
