[RFC] CCing MAINTAINERS on patches by default?
With the numbers of patches flying around it can be a bit hard for a maintainer to spot patches which (s)he is expected to comment on / deal with, especially now that we have a larger number of maintainers of varying subsystems etc. I think it might be time to start asking patch submitters to CC the maintainers of the code they are touching, based on the MAINTAINERS file. If people (specifically

Database Foreign Key - Basic question
Hi all I''m still waiting on my Agile Rails book to arrive - in the meantime ... As an exercise I''m making a Help Desk application. If I have a Problems table with two foreign keys to a People table, how do I set up my models, problems_controller list method, and then simply display say my problem submitter person? Here is what I have so far: Problems table with columns: id

Nested RESTful Routes and creating a object from XML
I am trying to create a new model from XML that contains has a has_many relationship. Is this possible without having to write code to parse the XML or to doing multiple POSTS? I can do a post with XML that doesn''t contain any of the has_many elements and it works fine. It is when I add the items from the has_many relationship that I get a bunch of errors. Here are the examples I am

Bug#684661: Xen BUG at pci_amd_iommu.c:33
Hi Wei, A Debian user has hit this message and reported it in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=684661 I think it is the BUG_ON in: struct amd_iommu *find_iommu_for_device(int bdf) { BUG_ON ( bdf >= ivrs_bdf_entries ); return ivrs_mappings[bdf].iommu; } It looks like ivrs_bdf_entries comes from ACPI. Git branch with compiling fixes for win32
(Jumping in again, maybe at the wrong point since this doesn't seem to involve encoding, but here goes.) Miroslav's patches have always been high-quality for sure.? But regardless of submitter, any patch that affects encoding must be reviewed very carefully, preferably by several other people and definitely me.? If there were ever a libFLAC release that had a bug and was not always

Getting InvalidAuthenticityToken errors quite often
How often is the authenticity token updated? The latest error that I got was a submittal of a form, an model validation occured, I click back, make the correction, resubmit the form, then I get an InvalidAuthenticityToken error. Somewhat off topic If a person is using the authenticity tokens is there still a need to use some sort of captcha? Thanks -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.
