"utils::file.edit" does not understand "editor" with additional arguments
I am using Sublime Text as my editor. If I run `subl -n .Rprofile` in bash, a file would be opened in a new window. Back in R, if I run this > file.edit(".Rprofile", editor="'subl -n'") sh: 'subl -n': command not found Warning message: error in running command However, the interesting bit happens when I run edit(1:10, editor="'subl -n?") Learning Rails - Advice for development environment
Hello, I have been learning Rails for several weeks now. I am working through Michael Hartl''s tutorial and other various things. My question is basically regarding what type of environment to do my development in. First, some background: I have used different linux distros on and off throughout the years, so it was easy and familiar for me to set up my desktop computer with Mint and

Opt plugin linkage
Hi, I have a dynamically loaded llvm pass built in-tree with ninja (generated with cmake, basically a copy of the hallo pass plugin, linux, llvm/clang version 6.0.1). It uses the ExecutionEngine. Building it without linking against LLVMExecutionEngine library results in an undefined symbol to the vtable of the EngineBuilder when loaded to opt. Linking the plugin with LLVMExecutionEngine results in

Seek brilliant Rails programmer to add one field to acts_as_taggable
I''m on the downhill side of a large project that requires an additional integer field to be added to the tag.rb in acts_as_taggable. I feel I have a good understanding of ActiveRecord and have performed the correct migrations. (As a short background for those following this thread) when one wants to add tags to a model they call the ''tag_with'' method that jumps into

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Stripping unusable intrinsics
Circling back to Chandler on file size differences. Here are the highlights of what is different. For my analysis I built LLVM and Clang using a clang built with my patches. The same clang was used for the baseline and the stripped build. I used the following CMake command: cmake -G "Sublime Text 2 - Ninja" -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release -DLLVM_BUILD_LLVM_DYLIB=Yes

Markdown editor for CentOS 7?
Hi, I recently discovered Markdown, and I'm currently using it to write some documentation for CentOS 7. https://github.com/kikinovak/formation-linux For the time being, I'm using my good old Vim editor for writing it. I turned off syntax highlighting, since this produces random results with Markdown. Pages are correctly displayed on Github, but in order to see them, I have to push

Opt plugin linkage
Hey: I spent sometime debugging this, it seems like editing ``llvm/tools/opt.cpp`` and move ``cl::ParseCommandLineOptions(argc, argv, "llvm .bc -> .bc modular optimizer and analysis printer\n");`` to the beginning of main() solved it for me. I'm not sure if this is a bug on LLVM side Zhang ------------------ Original ------------------ From: "Viktor Was BSc via
