PRI worked fine for months, nowit stopps working after 2-3 hours
Hello,
I wanted to relaunch my problem with a quite precise and small question.
Could the command "lsusb" affect interrupts when executing it regularly
(cron) and if the zaptel pci card is sharing an interrupt with a usb
bus?
I have a Digium PRI card and a few Xorcom USB Devices. The Digium card
seems to share the IRQ with some USB bus.

Can Ruby do this?
It may sound very simple:
1. When a user request some file, the program should authorize him
2. Then we send the file location to the browser/download manager so it
can begin to download. (something equilvalent to PHP header ("Location:
XXX")
3. Do something else before we stop the script.
The hardest part is the 3rd one, when we send back the header the script
will stopp too. I was

Hi
I'm trying to install an ebanking software called Paymaker 7.5. Unfortunately the setup stopps with an error message saying that a working Remote Access Service must be available.
Any ideas what I could do?
I'm running wine that comes with the Ubuntu / gutsy distribution.

HP Blade Gen 7 and 8 IO stall with ciss driver
hello
Since a while we're experiencing completely I/O stalls / stopps with
some HP Blade Hardware and FreeBDS 9.1. If it occurs, we have to power
cycle the server to recover.
The stalls occur only every few days to weeks, so it's difficult to
reproduce them; we also tried to do a lot of I/O (e.g. scrubbing
nonstop) but this didn't help to reproduce more often; taking load away

Samba Active Directory NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED - expired?
Hello list,
I'm using several samba server (mix between v2.2 and v3.0 versions)
within an Active Directory domain. These servers are normal domain
members and winbind is used to lookup the domain users on the linux
machines.
Sometimes it looks like that some of the servers get kicked out of the
domain. In the samba logs suddenly NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED messages
appear and samba stopps

Probelms with patching EXT-3
Hello anybody,
I have a Suse 7.2 Linux with Kernel 2.4.9, which is compiled by myself,
and is running stable.
Now I try to patch my sourcecode in the way you write on your homepage.
But thier are two Proglems:
1. When I download the the file "ext3-2.4-0.9.6-249.gz" with my Windows,
I get no packedfile, I get a Textfile?!
-so gunzip would not work.
2. never the less, I tried to patch

R Equivalent to matlab's find() command?
hi,
Just a very simple question: is there an R equivalent to the matlab
command find(X) which returns the indices of vector X that store
non-zero elements?
e.g.
> find( [1 0 0 1 0])
ans =
1 4
so, in R, how do I do:
ans <- rfind( c(1,0,0,1,0))
so that ans is the vector c(1,4)
thanks, stephen

Xen 3.0.1: create NAT Rule, Internet ppp0 stops
hi,
i installed a fresh Xen 3.0.1 installation and setup ppp0 (Dom0) for
Internet. Everything is working, till i want to create the MASQ rule,
for Internet (DomU and real clients):
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o ppp0 -j MASQUERADE
after that, i can''t ping anything to the internet. My old Firewall Setup
used for Xen 2.0.7 stopps working too. Also "iptables -L" over SSH
