Provisioning error
Hi All,
I am trying to build a samba4 server, but getting an python error when
provisioning.
I follow the instructions in the wiki HowTo, but when I run the provision
cmd:
./setup/provision --realm=CREOSYS.CO.UK--domain=CREOSYS --adminpass=PASSWORD
--server-role='domain controller'
I get the following error:

Invalid HOMEDRIVE
...most recent R on a Windows/XP machine, I get
what appears to be a normal (completely default) installation. Then when
I attempt to load rgui I get the fatal error message: Invalid HOMEDRIVE.
Any explanation of the error or suggestions of fixes to files or
registry would be appreciated.

OpenSuSE packages
Hello,
I just made packages for puppet for OpenSuSE. They are available at my
yum repo at
http://lmmri.fri.uni-lj.si/suse/
I had to change the init scripts and the first line of puppetd and
puppetmaster programs from
#!/usr/bin/env ruby to #!/usr/bin/ruby
otherwise the killproc from init scripts could not kill the daemons.
Unfortunately I had to change the spec file as well.
I wonder

Distribution of openssh once compiled
Folks:
Thanks to all who helped me get ssh up and running on my development box.
Now I want to make a distribution package to take and install on the rest of
my network.
I am not sure what to transfer from box to box and what to run to get
started. I did
the install on the dev box and all tested fine.
Is there a "standard distribution" list of only files required for running
ssh on

Snom 360
I am having major problems with the first run of Snom 360s that rolled
out last month.
I am working with the US vendor and they in turn are working with Snom
but I wanted to see of anyone else was using these or having issues with
them.
Issues:
Speakerphone/Hands Free volume spikes up and down during a call. You
have to manually set the volume during every call. This makes it totally
unusable.

overriding included classes
I believe this has already been discussed[1], but I''d like to add a bit
more to that original discussion and see if anyone has any suggestions.
Here''s what I''m trying to do: we have a set of very thorough "wipe"
scripts that run every night on our workstations. I''d like to stash
these into a class so that I can include them as a group:

escape regex code
hello,
i wondered if it would not be interesting to have some filters
function in puppet like
filter_integer(), filter_prelregex, filter_text, filter_email or such
so we can validate and make our defines a little more foolproof :)
i particulary see filter_regex as usefull in quite a lot of exec that
manipulates text files. What do you think about this ?

Licensing and Copyright
Hi all,
I fear this discussion will quickly devolve into a recursive flame-
fest, but it needs to be broached, so here we go. Note that I kind of
think this is more of dev topic than users, but I want to make sure
everyone knows the conversation is happening and can easily
participate. This is also likely to be the first of a series of
conversations I''ll be starting to try to

Socket options not properly set for ssh and sshd.
I'm sending this only to openssh-unix-dev at mindrot.org (since I'm using
the ported version of OpenSSH) and not to openssh at openssh.com, even
though I believe this to be a general problem. Please advise if you
think I should redirect this to the other mailing list.
Version: OpenSSH_2.2.0p1
Keywords: setsockopt keepalive hang masquerade
