echo cancellation test problem on Windows OS.
Hi, all. I'm a programmer lived in Korea. This time, I was investingating echo cancellation and found speex echo cancellation related API. But echo stilll remains. 1. echo cancellation using only files works propertly. 2. echo cancellation using sound device works not propertly. You can download test files as followed. http://www.vdream.co.kr/temp/ec/echocancel.wmv ( testing screen capture file ) http://www.vdream.co.kr/temp/ec/echocancel.zip (...

Samba over IPX
I would like to add my case for a wish of IPX support in Samba: We use a number of CNC tool machines whose host is pure DOS based. Don't be surprised that DOS is stilll running somewhere. It is fairly OK when we get to the field of HW and real-time control, unlike Windows and the like... These hosts use IPX to access LAN shares. IPX is here preferable to TCP/IP because of its lower memory consumption. Is there any plan for IPX support in Samba ? Thanks in advan...

Password Aging/Expiration in Samba 3?
Is password aging/expiration a functional feature in Samba 3? I have compiled and installed the alpha 12 release and while I can set password aging in the account policies via NT's account manager, Samba 3 does not seem to be honoring it. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? [FORGED] Re: draw stripes in a circle in R
...Why does this (apparently) not happen to anyone else? Why does the universe pick on *me*? What is the function "alpha()"? Where is it to be found? I discovered some time ago that I no longer needed to load the ggplot2 package. I wasn't entirely happy to make this discovery since I stilll cling to the old lattice style. Eventually I figgured out that it was because one of packages that I load in my .Rprofile-file had changed its imports. The `alpha` function I see is from ggplot2. Resistance is futile. I've now been partially assimilated. > > Searching on "alpha&qu...

Failed to access console after launching LXC through libvirt
...Escape character is ^] And it keeps stuck here. Initially I thought it could be a cgroup device config issue, and tried to "echo ?c 5:1 rwm' >/cgroup/devices/libvirt/lxc/instance-00000078/devices.allow?, to add /dev/console access right to the container. But it does not work, console stilll not working. Before the cgroup tweaking, devices.list are as follows [root at localhost libvirt]# cat /cgroup/devices/libvirt/lxc/instance-0000007a/devices.list c 1:3 rwm c 1:5 rwm c 1:7 rwm c 1:8 rwm c 1:9 rwm c 5:0 rwm c 5:2 rwm c 136:* rwm I'm not quite sure what kind of issue could pos...

PXE booting BartPE ISO file to Eee Pc
...Seems to just go to a screen with a blinking cursor and just hang there forever. I have other things in my boot menu that all work fine so I'm assuming it has to do with my BartPE setup. I've even tried telling DHCP to hand out startrom.com as the file to boot from instead of pxelinux but stilll get the same screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Allan

About echo CPU consuption
Hi, Jean, thanks for your source code example. I like ask info about cpu consuption, in our example enabling echo removing cause the sound poppling with a celeron 1.7Ghz (taskman show cpu full, without echo is at 30%). Does exist a mode to lower the cpu consuption in echo removing? Because a large part of users base own still "old" CPU of 6-7 generation, as from 500-700 Mhz and lower

Carrier Access Access Bank 1, incomming calls only echo problems, and Adit 600
...rent have a CAC AB1, and I am having echo problems with analog and sip phones. I have echocancel=128, echocancelwhenbridged=128, echotraining=yes, in zapta.conf. 128 taps for echocancel does the best job for my system... I've adjusted the rx gain and the tx gain to the lowest possible, and stilll be usable. I've ran a brand new cat5 from the dmark. And I still have echo problems on incoming calls only; outgoing calls are perfect. Would a Adit 600 help with the echo problems? Even if the CAC AB1 has impedance matching would the Adit 600 help? a partial T1 is too much from the local...

I've made it, but the available version in FreeBSD's ports is only 3.0.32. After update it, the problem stilll exists. How can i solve this problem? Thanks

Noisy Ring Back Tone with TE205P card
Hi, I am having problems with an Asterisk with a Digium TE205P card. The issue is that the Ring Back Tone is noisy. I am making modem's calls and this noise influences on the initial negotiation protocol, so modems have to recall. My configuration is: Asterisk version: Asterisk 1.4.21.2 Linux version: CentOS release 5.2 (Final) Card: Digium TE205P

Questions on qcow, qcow2 versus LVM
I''ve been using lvm under centos to create the backing store for domUs and although the performance seems acceptable it has some shortcomings. The biggest of which is the LVM bug which prevents me from removing an lv (it says it is still mounted and it definitely isnt). I thought this was just a centos bug but it appears to be evident in debian and ubuntu too and I really can''t

Raspberry PI3 - CentOS armv7hl gnome desktop
Maybe there is a better place to post this message but as my question was still CentOS related thought I would start here. Please advise if there is a better forum of which to ask this question. I am playing around with making a "desktop" workstation out of a Raspberry PI3. I have had no problems installing the OS and pretty much have everything working except a Gnome desktop. I
