NAT/SIP solution?
Greetings,
I was wondering if somebody is working on a solution to the NAT/SIP-issues?
It seems to me that the problem has been identified, is that correct?
Just hoping that someone with more skills will provide us with a solution
sooner or later...
Regards,
Stig

Need help resolving bad Puppet module entries for STIG
I discovered that a number of our STIG Puppet modules are failing. I am
thinking its because the code is wrong because when I make a quick chance
to the actual code being used, then the code actually works as intended.

Recover files from overwritten zpool?
...m the previous install. I realize now I should have done a
zpool import, but instead I recreated the pool, thinking this would
bring my file system back. I destroyed the new pool, but other than that
I have done nothing to overwrite data.
Is it possible to recover the data from the old pool?

But you will still need a (self?) support plan to be STIG compliant.

DADMS is a Navy system, but yes Centos is approved for use by DISA. You would STIG it just like RHEL.

DBLEPR?
Ravi Varadhan and I have been looking at UCMINF to try to identify why it gives occasional
(but not reproducible) errors, seemingly on Windows only. There is some suspicion that its
use of DBLEPR for finessing the Fortran WRITE() statements may be to blame. While I can
find DBLEPR in Venables and Ripley, it doesn't get much mention after about 2000 in the
archives, though it is in the R FAQ

routing telephone calls via "switchboard/asterisk".
...all me - and get a message
"dial 1 for Hans, 2 for Eric, 3 for Hanna."
Can I set up such a recording/playback software with the asterisk system ?
And how can I route the calls onto the right number ?
(guessing that I need to run mysql and storing all the phonenumber, IP, etc)

Failed to authenticate on INVITE
Hi,
I upgraded my two asterisk boxes today to the latest cvs (up from 5/3/04).
These two boxes talk to eachother via sip, not iax. Since the upgrade, I
get the error "Failed to authenticate on INVITE" trying to make calls to/from
either box. Removing the secret from each box's sip config seems to work but
is utterly braindead.
Has anyone seen this?

There have been similar requests in the past. At one point someone on
forge.mil was working on a rebuild which met STIG requirements, but
there were all sorts of issues with that. While I'm not in sales, I feel
safe in speculating that RH's sales folks work rather hard to make sure
the DOD as a whole stays happy.
Jason and Johnny are both right, because the DOD is a rather large

CentOS 7.2 Installation - Anaconda Installer Security Policy Configuration
The Anaconda installer now provides a "Security Policy", although
selecting any of the available profiles does not seem to have much
effect on the overall installation. Has anyone here had any success
with using the kickstart file that is installed when "Pre-release Draft
STIG for CentOS Linux 7 Server" profile is selected? The upstream
vendor's security guide doesn't seem to offer much guidance. All
accounts of trials and tribulations are appreciated. My goal is to
install/verify (or as close as I can get to it) a STIG compliant CentOS
7.2 distribution....
