OCFS disk failure problem.
...t as soon as I put
a decent sized load on it, the filesystem seemed to have failed.
Anyone else experience this problem? Any ideas on how to recover? Or
maybe I missed something when I set it up.
Any help, comments, suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you
everyone in advance.

How to sync /etc/smbpasswd with /etc/passwd ?
...whenever /etc/smbpasswd is changed via the
Samba sync option that does not seem to be possible the other way round:
I just want a /etc/smbpasswd generated from my /etc/passwd with the correct
passwords as used for the UniX login...
Is that possible ?

[LLVMdev] Running "make check" on Windows yields lots of unwarrented unexpected failures (HTML free this time:-)
Hi,
sorry, in my last mail, I didn't check in time that HTML e-mails would
be turned off.
So, checking out llvm/clang yesterday under Win32, building it, and
running the "check"-project using MS Visual Studio yielded 177
unexpected failures, many of which happen because of the different
registers used in passing arguments under Win64 and everybody else
on x86-64.

Phone Directories/Asterisk/SIP/directory.html
Greetings!
We are using cisco 7940 phone with SIP and asterisk. We would like to be
able to have phone directories available on the phones that are sourced from
active directory. Are their any scripts that can connect to the AD server
via LDAP and then create the directory.html file for the phones?
Thanks!
Liz

encoder problem
I seem to have found a bug in the encoder. I had some audio noise in a
sample I encoded using oggenc. It happens at both the '128' and '160'
bitrate settings. I've posted the snippet of the original wav file, as well
as the noisy ogg so you can try it for yourself.
You can download them both from

I've bzip2'd the wav file to

icecast2 formats
I've been looking over icecast2 and notice that it's all ogg. Are there
plans for mp3 support in it, or will that be left to icecast1? I love ogg,
but still have a sizeable set of mp3's from before I found it. Is it
possible to have a stream of varying formats where songs could be either mp3
or ogg and the listening program uses the appropriate plugin/player to
handle decoding, or
