boot statictic fn for dual estimation of 2 stats?
Hi,
I am trying to use boot() to refit an ordinal logit (polr in MASS) model.
(A very basic bootstrap which samples from the data frame without
replacement and updates the model.)
I need to extract two statistics per run (the coefficients and zeta) and I
tried concatenating them into a single vector after fitting, but I get the
following error:

The iostat command
...derstand disk I/O statistics.
We have 2 Centos 4 servers running where oracle is installed. We
installed them 2 weeks ago. @ that time, These Servers performed well.
But, Now We have come to know that these 2 Machines are quite slow
when comparing to the first week.
So, Some say, run iostat to see statictics. I am not familiar with comamnd well.
I found below url

And, I have still not understood it fully.
Could you pls advice me , If you have experience with iostat?

Prediction with Bayesian Network?
Hi,
I am interested in using a bayesian network as a predictor (machine
learning); however, I can't get any of the implementations (deal, nblearn)
to learn & predict stuff.
Shouldn't there also be probabilites for each node after the learning phase,
how can I access these?
Cheers,
Stephan
