Debian....0.9.61.... and crooked hands
Because from times of 0.9.58 version nobody makes packages for Debian, I decided to compile 61st ver myself...
Compiling passed smoothly.
But there are no Russian fonts.
In place of the Russian letters there are rectangles.
Amount of startable programs diminished notedly...
Can you explain how to manage with fonts....
What libraries are needed for complete wine compilation?...
And why do nobody assebling packages for Debian?
P.S.Sorry for my English..... I hope it is understandable.....

Wine-Problems
Hi Folks,
I'm using CentOS 4.3 and Wine 0.9.16-2.el4.kb installed with yum.
My Problem: I get only a glimmering WIN-Desktop.
i.e. winecfg starts but not Labels are visible. The Buttons are visible, the
Function of these buttons also works. But I can't use wine because no
Application is startable. Only a 800x600 Window-Desktop appearce (in green
color) - very strong glimmering. And thats all.
With kubuntu on the same machine are no problems. But there is a Wine-Version
9.18.
In CentOS-Repositories are no newer version.
What informations are need more to help me.
Bye
Timothy

Want to help Wine project?
This message is for those who wants to help Wine
project but do not know where to start.
We need contributors of a wide range of skills.
The minimal requirements are:
access to a computer with Linux (or other Unix-like
system) where you can use Wine.
We have a lot of tasks which are relatively easy to
do.
The fact that these tasks are easy does not mean they
are not important.

Re: Fwd: Haswell 4770 misidentified as Sandy Bridge
Sorry to blow up everyone's email on this but I tried something new and
found a different problem. I uninstalled all the debian package (libvirt,
kvm, qemu, virt-manager, etc.) and then remade all the packages and
installed them. Haswell again shows up in virt-manager, but now any CPU I
choose including kvm64 and qemu64 give the same error:
