I know nothing of actually connecting M$ machines to linux ones; but could I perhaps burn a CD on one of the XP machines, and then read it with Wine and copy that data in?? By the time you close all those, it crashes; and on re-launch, it has no waypoints. I installed ImgBurn under Wine today and it appears to run correctly but does not actually write to the cd Is it ok if I pm you with a bit more detail? Thanks, Lou
