Need help defining a stackexchange (i.e. stackoverflow) for telephony
For those of that are fans of stackoverflow.com, and stackexchange.com,
there's an effort to define a telephony stackexchange site. It's still in
the definition phase. What it needs to move forwards is more votes on
on/off topic questions, and perhaps some better questions to vote for or
against.
If you're interested in helping out, or following...

Network Manager / CentOS 7 / local unbound
Hello list -
http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/90035/how-to-set-dns-resolver-in-fedora-using-network-manager
That says it works for CentOS 5 and I *suspect* the methods there (3
listed) would work, but what is the best way with NetworkManager to set
it up to use the localhost for DNS ?
I'm paranoid about DNS spoofing and...

Statistical mailing list
I am looking for a mailing list for general statistical questions that
are not R related. Do you have any suggestions for lists that are busy
and helpful and/or lists that you use and recommend?
Thanks in advance,

Note though that this has been put on hold on stats.stackexchange.com as
off-topic.

ipset module loaded at startup on CentOS 6.5
Anybody on here successfully get ipset iptables sets to work _after_ a
reboot?
My question on StackExchange

Some of the things that need to be in place, otherwise iptables does not

1.) The kernel module ip_set needs to be loaded.
2.) The "sets" need to be create...

avoids discussion of purely statistical issues, which is what your query
appears to be. The simple answer is yes, you can fit the model as
described, but you clearly need the off topic discussion as to what it
does or does not mean. For that, you might try the stats.stackexchange.com
statistical site.

data analysis for partial two-by-two factorial design
Hi Bert,
I am very sorry to bother you again.
For the following question, as you suggested, I posted it in both Biostars website and stackexchange website, so far no reply.
I really hope that you can do me a great favor to share your points about how to explain the coefficients for drug A and drug B if run anova model (response variable = drug A + drug B). is it different from running three separate T tests?
Thank you so much!!

data analysis for partial two-by-two factorial design
Dear R users,
I need to analyze data generated from a partial two-by-two factorial design: two levels for drug A (yes, no), two levels for drug B (yes, no); however, data points are available only for three groups, no drugA/no drugB, yes drugA/no drugB, yes drugA/yes drug B, omitting the fourth group of no drugA/yes drugB. I think we can not investigate interaction between drug A and drug B,

Comparing pooled proportions(complication and reoperation rates) of different treatment modalities
Dear sir/madame,
I am currently writing a meta-analysis on the complication and reoperation rates of 5 different treatment modalities after a distal radius fracture. I was able to pool the rates of the 5 different rates using R. Now I have to compare the pooled rates of the 4 treatment modalities with the golden standard separately. I though the chi squared test would be the best method. How do

What am I doing wrong?

most) 1+ 2 + ... + (n-1) comparisons we can use bonferroni/scheffe / some

Since this is a statistics query I have posted on stackexchange. I have

How to set hostname and domainnmae in CentOS 7?
We can permanently set hostname using hostnamectl set-hostname. How can we
permanently set *domain name* in CentOS 7?
I found an article
<http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/239920/how-to-set-the-fully-qualified-hostname-on-centos-7-0>
that recommended setting FQDN using hostnamectl. Is that the right way to
set hostname and domainname at the same time using *hostnamectl
set-hostname* command?
Running *hostnamectl set-hostname* will set the hostname...
