Here's a SIP trace of the problem. yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy is the outside NAT IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP of my PBX dddddddddd is the dialed phone number sssssssssss is the source phone number The peculiar thing is that asterisk sends an OK in response to an INVITE, then the phone sends back an ACK, which asterisk seems to ignore because it retransmits the OK message again Then eventually the phone gives up and sends a BYE message. -- James <--- S...

binding/unbinding devices to vfio-pci
Alex, I'm trying to think through how binding/unbinding of devices will work with VFIO for platform devices and have a couple of questions about how vfio-pci works. When you bind a device to vfio-pci, e.g.: # echo 1102 0002 > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/vfio-pci/new_id ...I understand that the echo into 'new_id' tells the vfio pci driver that it now handles the specified PCI ID. But

But here's a funny thing (#1) - "wbinfo -S SSSS" gives me a UID for SID SSSS. However it's not the same UID as, when given to "wbinfo -U UUUU", would return that SID. Duh? So the mapping is only currently one way. UID->SID = OK; SID->UID = not OK (no error but allocated value not...

password server
Hi ! If someone could help me.. I'm trying to ask my server to validate password on a first pdc in domainA and on a second PDC in domainB. However, when I set password server in smb.conf like this : password server= PDC1, PDC2 It only validating from PDC1.. I think that samba suppose that PDC2 is a bdc of PDC1. Any suggestion ? Excuse my poor english, it's not my native language.

problem with coxph
Hi everyone, I encountered a problem using the coxph function for the conditional logistic regression. I am trying to do some simulations and I really don’t understand a mistake which happened maybe only 1 time among more than 1,000 simulations. What appeared on the screen is the following: Error in fitter(X,Y,strats, offset, init, control, weights=weights,: NA/NaN/Inf in a foreign function (arg

solaris 2.6 printing
I have ran across a problem that I cant resolve and no one else seems to either. I recently built solaris 2.6 on an ULTRA 1 Sun Box. I retrieved compiled and installed samba 2.0 from their web site I compiled with gcc and everything works well except for the printing. Samba does deliver a file in my /var/spool/smbprint dir but nothing happens from there no matter what lp or other commands I

using %d as a variable in the ldap search base
I'm trying to use auth bind to avoid having a plain text password in a config file. With %u instead of %n, the @domain part of the login ends up in the uid field of the search filter. As I said, my OUs have overlapping users, so I have configured things such that the users are logging in with user at domain, and need to get the domain component into the search base as you cannot filter on

I guess you are just left with options like 1. 3 different vm's 2. auth bind = no base, scope subtree that is parent of those 3 ou's and then apply filters something like pass_filter = (&(objectClass=posixAccount)(uid=%n)(ou:dn:=%d)) 3. investigate if nslcd(/ssss?) has an option to use multiple queries for passwd and have dovecot authenticate against the system. -----Original Message----- Cc: dovecot; luke-dovecot Subject: Re: using %d as a variable in the ldap search base I'm trying to use auth bind to avoid having a plain text password in a conf...
