I've been waiting impatiently for this to go GA ever since, so I can start seriously bugging the EPEL guys. Re the kernel, how do the Springdale/PUIAS handle this issue? I've just installed v6.3 as a desktop (from Centos-6.3-i386-LiveCD.iso) and to get the hang of the Centos approach and then hope to move on to a server. I've been using linux *buntu for 5 years. It would not have been possible to maintain it without great support from people like Pablo and @kabe. We initially got the 32-bit version from Springdale (formerly Puias). Then they stopped building at some point. Building it becomes harder and harder with each release, it seems. So, there is no guarantee that there is another update to the i686 plus kernel.
