Seive + Spamprobe terminates with signal 6
Ubuntu 20.04, Dovecot 2.3.7.2, SpamProbe v1.4d. For the past weeks my
sieve filters that call spamprobe have been crashing out for some users.
I have a dozen similar server setups and this is not happening on any
of the other servers and it was working just fine for a year up until
recently. This particular server is quite busy. There is plenty of disk
space and inode usage is about 2.5%.

Legend for radial.plot?
Using plotrix, is it possible to create a legend for the following and attach it to the radial.plot?
posmat<-matrix(sample(2:9,30,TRUE),nrow=3)
radial.plot(posmat,labels=paste("X",1:10,sep=""),rp.type="p",
main="Spiderweb plot",line.col=2:4,show.grid=FALSE,lwd=1:3,
radial.lim=c(0,10))
Thanks.

Some help for a beginner please: terser logging
Dear newfound friends,
please be patient. For me reading and writing in English is more painful
than dissecting IP traces :)
I have tried reading through the FAQ but could not quite understand:
I would like the logs to be terser. I think I can live without MAC, LEN,
TOS, PREC, TTL, ID fields normally (maybe need them only in special
situations). Could not understand if/how I can achieve this.

trying to run geneforge in wine
I am fairly new to Linux and Wine. I have finally got around to trying some games in Wine. I am running Ubuntu lucid lynx and wine 1.2 and want to play the Geneforge games from spiderweb software. The app data base says that it is supposed to run well, but it loads, the menu screen is fine, then when I go to start a new game the mouse is nearly impossible to control, it is jumping around the

A question on rules simplification
[newbie question]
Before using Shorewall I used to manually write some very short iptables
rules which where probably much poorer than what this Shorewall gem does
but I could "follow" them very easily.
Now reading the output of iptable -L gives me a terrible headache.
Is there some tool that graphs the rules in order to "see" them better ?
For instance I was experiencing

Thoughts on Second-Tier Documentation
In the course of this argument, keep in mind that I think Rails is
making excellent progress in the development of documentation and
community. I am only trying to develop discussion of where we need to
go next.
A consistent theme we are seeing on this list, I believe, is frustration
caused by the lack of second-tier documentation. So far we have...
-- the various tutorials which are
