Limiting Dovecot access by user-spesific ip addresses?
Hi, Is there any possibility to limit access to mailboxes by user-spesific ip addresses? So, I'd like to have a configuration which by default restricts reading emails to company's own ip-address range. So far, this could be achieved by a basic firewall rule, but not any more the following: However, there is need for a few users to access their emails from world-wide internet, so there

Desktop-operations in Metacity and Compiz.
Hello, I'm developing a fancy screenshot application for the GNOME-desktop using GTK and GDK libraries (and some Xlib stuff too). When taking a screenshot of a window, my code first finds out in which desktop the window lies (resides) and then moves to that desktop and takes a screenshot. This is quite easy to do under the Metacity window manager, but I cannot make this work right in Compiz

"Duplicate workgroup names in browse list" problem reappeared in 3.0.5
Starting from version 3.0.2 (or .3?) there were a misfeature that caused workgroup names to show up as duplicates in workstations' browse lists. Fix for this didn't reach into 3.0.5-pre1, but rc1 had this fixed. Today I upgraded 3.0.5-rc1 to 3.0.5-2 (FC2 binary rpm from samba.org) and the problem reappeared. To be more spesific, the problem appears when there are more that one workgroup

Samba Compile Error on 3.0.7 and 3.0.8 Pre 1 on X64 Fedora
Hi Exact same error occures on a dual AMD64 Fedora Core 3 64 bit with samba 3.0.20Pre1. However, I have discovered taht putting the compile option "-m32" in the C compiler flags, which force 32 bit compilation, the error doesn't happen. The sad part of the story is that compilation crash later in the process. It may be a compilatotor/linker error when assembler code is created, but

[Bug 3173] New: old server, new client, unrecognized option problem
...to automatically send all options to the server, and at least I didn't find any way to turn it off. This causes trouble in some cases, so there should be at least an option that disables sending another option to the server, or an option to disregard, without failing, any unknown options. More spesifically, I'm currently having trouble with wanting to use --remove-sent-files on the local end when pushing files to a slightly older rsync server. Here the server really wouldn't even need to know about the switch being used, but if it is, the whole operation nevertheless fails. I've verified...

Samba, Clearcase, and multiple credentials
This falls under the 'getting clearcase to work with samba' category. Does anybody know if the clearcase albd server actually uses samba to access files (or anything else) on the unix side? I am having 'discussions' with rational (the clearcase people). The nt user running clearcase to access some unix-side views connects to the unix side using a set of credentials that have

At the moment everything flow fine, my question is that how can I filter the access by computer mac address, I had read the documentation maybe I am ''stupid enough to spot the guide, if so please show me''. What is the rules line if I want to 1. limit ~01-01-01-01-01-01,~02-02-02-02-02-02,~03-03-03-03-03-03-03 to access 202.202.202.202
