Call FWD & the new channel driver chan_local
...their assigned
channel
dialing *60 this pattern is matched in the callfwd context
& will allow the user to store what ever is after the *60 as their current
extension
It is saved to the DB by prepending the new 'local' channel driver & the
context that is
assigned in the Global var SPEEDIAL.
I guess to be more generic users should be able to select the context they
want the
call fwd to apply to, & the means of determing there current User/Channel
should be more generic
so they don't have to set the CallFwd from there assigned channel, but that
be pretty easy just to
add some...

Call forwarding questions
Is there any way to have users be able to turn on or off call forwarding
at the asterisk server, so they can configure their own forwarding
number and enable/disable it?
Hopefully, with the added benefit that it will remain on between server
reloads and restarts?
I have written a hack -- a AGI script to do various checking, and if
the destination is "ok" set a database variable

BLF not working after reload
Hi there,
I am running Asterisk 1.2. I have a Grandstream GXP2000 and Aastra 9133i
with BLF/Speedial configured for other extensions. The hint's are all
configured in extensions.conf and it seems to work as it is supposed to
until I reload the configuration in Asterisk or reboot the server. Then
neither phone displays the BLF of other extensions until I reboot the phone.
It continues working...

Speed Dial Application in *
...dial" type application in *? The NEC PBX we
currently use has a feature which allows any phone to access a
system-wide speed dail database simply by keying the speed-dial number
and pressing the 'redial' key from any extension. Even using a vinella
phone on an sli the user can dial 77+speedial# and access this
directory.
Does * have a similar feature?
Thanks,
Chris

Anyway to control the LEDs on the Aastra 55i six top buttons? Maybe through Asterisk?
Hi Everyone,
We use the top buttons on Aastra 55i to login and logout from Queues. This
is the order:
Button 1 = Login to English Queue
Button 2 = Login to Spanish Queue
Button 3 = Logout of English/Spanish Queues
There are indicator LEDs on each of these buttons. Is there anyway we can
send a SIP request or some other communication to get the Aastra 6755i phone
to keep the LED for login set
