Problems with sipura 1001's and 2002's
I'm having lots of problems with sipura spa1001's and spa2002's. Asterisk claims they are busy when they aren't. Other times, it claims to be ringing them, but they aren't really ringing. I have done the following to try to resolve the problem: 1) I upgraded all my spa1001's and 2002's to their latest firmware (3.1.5). This le...

Sipura SPA-3000 vs Linksys SPA3000
Hallo! I had ordered a Sipura SPA-3000 in the UK, but the supplier turned out to be unreliable and never shipped. Yesterday I went looking for alternative suppliers and found the Linksys SPA3000 device. It's a different box, but the specs look very similar. Is this the same device? Has anyone used this Linksys SPA3000 successfully with Asterisk? Thanks, Frank

MWI not working on most ATAs in Asterisk 1.6.2.17
...se are the ATAs that don't work: Linksys SPA2102 Linksys PAP2T-3.1.15 Thomson 780 Thomson 784 Unfortunately, this doesn't bode well for us, since these represent the vast majority of our customers. I did manage to find one ATA that does work without a hitch on the new server, a Sipura SPA2002. Which of course, is discontinued. The Thomsons coincidentally, never worked on our old server either, but they're here because if someone knows how to make them work, we'd be very happy. I know that by default, Asterisk will send SIP NOTIFY messages to the ATA to inform it of wai...

Call forwarding
Yo, Inspired by the example in the tips & tricks-section of "http://www.junghanns.net/asterisk/", I built a more elaborate call divert-feature. This one validates if the extension a call-forward is to be set to is actually valid for the current context and additionally saves this context into the DB and always uses it to originate the divert from, as you can't expect the
