pb with iptables snat script
hi list, oh it''s not really a problem. Each time i fire shorewall, i run a custom iptables script: (for the openvpn machines to have route back from my bridge/fw - $SOURCEIP is the ip of my OpenVPN/Fw/bridge) iptables -A POSTROUTING -t nat -s 10.8.0.0/16 -j SNAT --to-source $SOURCEIP i wish to better integrate it within shorewall, so is there any config files that could achieve the same thing? nat? actions? Thx for you help guys and a grand bravo to Tom Eastep!!!...

Log / Dump Rotation Feature Request
...hich rotate's the dump.ogg file and renames it. The BASH Script is executed by the on-connect and on-disconnect source event. It would be nice to have an internal rotation feature because so the files could be more "logicaly" seperated. For Example: <dump-file>/foo/bar/radio1-%SOURCEIP-%DATE-%PLAYTIME-% PEAKLISTENERS.ogg</dump-file> U see it, could be quiete usefull in many ways. To comply with the GEMA Laws and to create quiete a well sorted and informational Archieve of all shows. kind regards, Robert. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scr...

inbound SIP funnies
...A SIP inbound INVITE message is coming in to an extension (not a peer) eg 555 at ourserver.com A tcpdump clearly shows the INVITE coming in, but asterisk seems to be ignoring it (theres no reply outbound packet). All the source/dest IPs and ports look good. A "sip set debug trace ip <sourceip>" is blank, showing nothing at all. The sip.conf default context is incoming_pstn. The incoming_pstn context is: [incomming_pstn] include => local-UK include => local-US include => test_numbers and [test_numbers] includes: exten => 555,1,Answer(0)...

Asterisk use with verizon hotspot
Apparently Verizon is blocking or changing packets on port 5060 so my softphone from my hotspot will not work. How do I set asterisk (11.23.0) to run default 5060 for all other devices I have - BUT for my software run on a different port like 5070? I'm using linphone and is easy to change the ports from 5060 to 5070 ( I think). Thanks, Jerry -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

What is going on now?
Hi, I read the news about Tom Steps quit. I use shorewall for some days now and as many people I ike it very much. I asked Tom in a personal mail, what could be done to continue the project and he told me I had to subscribe to this list. My ideas where: a) Mirroring the site b) I would like to study the code and help c) I am studying computer science and I could ask some teachers and friends

On Register, run a script, validate source IP
Hi Gang To increase security against phished passwords and similar attacks, we consider offering customers to define IP ranges (or GeoIP locations) from which their dynamic registrations are being accepted. I can already look at the source IP in the dial plan, so no issue with validate an INVITE against a source IP. But I would also like to prevent registrations from outside of this
