Chan_Capi questions??
I have been using chan_capi and a Fritz AVM (passive) card for a little while now.. So far so good.. There are still a couple of things I am not totally sure about.. First.. What is the difference between "softdtmf=0" and "softdtmf=1"?? Which is the preffered/recommended option?? Second.. What is Early B3 all about?? Should I be using it in my dial string?? Which is the preffered/recommended option "b" or "B"?? Thanks.. -- ______________________________________________ h...

Inbound calls (similar problem; ISDN - chan_capi)
...ISCONNECT_IND ID=002 #0x0a68 LEN=0014 Controller/PLCI/NCCI = 0x101 Reason = 0x3400 Now I do have a capi_conf file that in my opinion should send inbound calls to a different context: [interfaces] msn=0221591030 incomingmsn=221591030 controller=1 devices=2 softdtmf=1 callgroup=1 context=from-chan_capi Can anybody help me understanding if the incoming call gets answered and if so why it is sent to a default context? What is an invalid handler? Thanks in adavance Aldo

AVM C4, asterisk-1.0.8, /etc/asterisk/capi.conf
Has anyone a working /etc/asterisk/capi.conf example for Germany or Switzerland using the AVM C4 - ISDN Card. I try to connect asterisk to 3 wires BRI-ISDN (Swisscom). I appreciate your help and it would save me a lot of time, figuring it out by myself. regards, Claudio

DTMF crashes chan_capi
Hi, I'm having a problem with DTMF tones from my SIP client apparently crashing the chan_capi driver. However I'm not sure whether this is a bug or misconfiguration on my part: if I set "softdtmf=1" in /etc/asterisk/capi.conf the problem goes away. Does the AVM B1 not support DTMF detection? The set up I have is using latest CVS (3 days old) running RH8 on a 933MHz P3. SIP client is SJPhone (G711) on Windows connected to * via a 100Mbit switched LAN. PSTN connection is using latest ch...

chan-capi and dtmf
Hi List, I'm having a problem with detecting incoming dtmf tones with chan_capi, using an AVM Fritz card. I have set up softdtmf and relaxdtmf, both to 0, expecting that the capi module will detect the tones, but it did not. I also set both to 1, expecting that the asterisk dsp functions will detect them but it did not either. Can anyone provide any ideas how to overcome this issue?
