Tripplite SNMPwebcard communication lost and established randomly
Just started using NUT and having a problem. I'm not sure if it is even NUT that is causing the issue. I'm running the latest FreeNAS 9.3 release. Network UPS Tools upsmon 2.7.2. The UPS is a Tripplite SU6000RT4UHVPM with the SNMPwebcard installed. I'm trying to use the SNMPwebcard, not USB or Serial. I've updated the SNMPwebcard to the latest firmware version (see below). In FreeNAS I was able to create a connection to the UPS by simply adding the IP address for the Port and defining the driver as "Various ups 3 (var...

...r messages than snmp-ups, but they both use the same underlying library, so YMMV. There are a few flags that you can add to snmpwalk to adjust the error output. > I also looked at the Cisco router and it isn't showing any packet loss. > It is possible that packet loss is happening on the SNMPwebcard. Those sorts of cards typically do not have fast CPUs. Connecting to Tripp-Lite SNMPWEBCARD
Hey! I was wondering if anybody has had any luck getting a Tripp Lite UPS with the SNMPWEBCARD working with NUT? I haven?t been able to get it working using the same steps I did getting an APC unit working. I have been able to get snmpwalk to work with SNMP 1 so theoretically it should work for at least that snmp v1. We are using Centos 6.4 with NUT version nut-2.6.5-2.el6.src.rpm. We curre...

Tripp-Lite SMART1500XL
I've having no success trying to use the tripplite driver to communicate with a Tripp-Lite SMART1500XL via the serial port. I'm using the cable that was included with the UPS. The tripplite driver simply returns "Failed - giving up..." after 20 seconds. I have verified that the tripplite driver is sending ":W" out the serial port. I am able to use Tripp-Lite's

We're looking at replacing some old APC SmartUPS 5000s with something that has USB so NUT can more easily talk with it (and yes, I've tried USB-RS232 adapters and every one I tried started kicking out errors within a few hours). One of the bids we have is for a "Tripp Lite UPS Smart Online 5000VA 4500W Rackmount 5kVA 200V/240V" as the potential replacement unit. I have no

Tripp-Lite USB constantlly disconnecting.
I am experiencing the same kind of disconnects, stale data on Eaton brand UPS (Nova AVR). It keeps doing it probably due to Windows to detect it as a new hardware, until Eaton software is installed. With Eaton Linux IPP http://pqsoftware.eaton.com/explore/eng/ipp/default.htm?lang=en this does not happen. Think what? It disables it somehow. But as soon as you remove this proprietary driver, its
