Well I decided that 2am on a thursday night would be a good time to try this and I've hit a wall... most of the other errors were pretty easy to fix. I just don't understand this one: --snip--snip--snip-- gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -D__linux__ -pipe -fno-strength-reduce

Problems w/Asterisk Realtime + MySQL + SIP
Hi all, Asterisk is great but I'm having issues with setting up realtime for our call center, which is needed for login integration with the rest of our applications (telephonists' web interface, etc.). I have reviewed a large number of previous posts to the mailing list and the voip-info wiki to no avail. Setup is as follows: Linux 2.6.23 (gentoo) / AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ /

RFC: Adding a code size analysis tool
Hello, I worked on a code size analysis tool for a 'week of code' project and think that it might be useful enough to upstream. The tool is inspired by bloaty (https://github.com/google/bloaty), but tries to do more to attribute code size in actionable ways. For example, it can calculate how many bytes inlined instances of a function added to a binary. In its diff mode, it can show how

Problem with "force create mode" et. al.
Hi, folks. I've got a weird situation here. I'm sure it's something small, but, well, either I've been cursed by a witch doctor, or my eyesight is getting too bad to find small problems. Either way, I'm more than willing to be pummeled for asking such a stupid question, as long as it helps me get it solved. I'm replacing an NT file server with a Samba box (hooray!).

snip.rpart with R 1.6.0
Hello! I've a question to the rpart package. With the snip.rpart function, you can snip off subtrees. In R 1.5.1 this function works without problems. But in the new version of R (1.6.0) it isn't possible to snip off the subtrees wi th this function. Does someone have a solution for this problem? thsudler at swissonline.ch

FWD IAX Problem
Hi All, I am having trouble with receiving calls from FWD via IAX. I know this isn't a FWD support forum, but I suspect the problem is my asterisk setup. The problem is that I can dial out to fwd subscribers, even myself but they can't dial me using my FWD number. I don't know much about IAX, but it would seem to me like a registration problem, but I get no errors or warnings in

I want it to connect and update the WINS configuration on the Preferred Master. Configuration files for both servers are attached. Also worth mentioning that both the 'fserver' and 'upstairs' reside on the same network. Some

Form the vorbis.com homepage: "Ogg Vorbis does not compromise quality for freedom. Its stunning quality is coupled with aggressive features like fast bitrate scaling, surround channels, and fast sample-granularity seek and decode." This makes me wonder... -- What is "fast bitrate scaling"? -- I've never seen anything in the source supporting surround channels. -- I
