Having a spot of bother installing this program. Have attempted installing with Crossover and with wine directly. Anyone got this program running at all ? success report: bricscad v7
bricscad v7 just came out. I tried the 'classic' version, and oddly enough, it seems to run fine in the latest wine from cvs. (Probably runs just as well in 0.9.16.) Has anyone else tested it harder than I did? - Dan

./tools/wineinstall
Regarding the most recent release wine20040615. When using ./tools/wineinstall I got an error stating that a 'static' version of glibc was required. I'm using Mandrake 10 Official and would have thought that such a monster was included considering the last stable release appears to be from last year. So, what is a 'static' version and what do I need to do to overcome this

AutoCADLT2000 and Mandrake10 Official
OK, so I am not sure if this is the place or not, so if wrong please redirect me to a more helpful place for my inquiry. I have installed MDK10 Official and it came with it's own Wine. My interest here is with installing AutoCAD LT 2000 and being able to use whilst within Linux. I copied all my system and system32 files over from my WinMe partition, I downloaded and installed Visual

Cleaning out wine for bricscad afresh
...e re-installing cx-office for the like of msproject2003. This doesn't have priority at this point, but I mention it because in an earlier version of wine I have had BrisCAD up and running ok only to see it fall over upon installing cx. -- Newbie Seeking USER_FUNCTIONALITY always!
