I discovered that the ups returns power from shutdown.reboot after 8-10 minutes. (530s on 1st attempt and 554s on 2nd). But it does not execute its power-on self test. It turns on only. ...s button disables communication. Power up from ups button issues power-on self test (pop, crack and clicking sounds) whereas shutdown.return and shutdown.stop just bring it on without post. I think this is normal. Also, from ups button power up, power up from shutdown.return or shutdown.stop, the smsbrasil sets ups.status as OL BYPASS. Since this ups is line interactive, what is this bypass bit? I didn't review the driver yet but it is a bug from the driver or hardware? I found the NUT via FreeNAS [1] , and the contribuition [2] of Ulisses and Rodrigo about this vendor SMS, in Brazil. But, initially, i'm trying to apply the Ulisses patch (for smsbrasil driver) in a Debian Server, with no success. Can anyone help me about the patch in these two link [3] or [4]?
