Any ideas are welcome on how I should proceed, what the problem could be

I append a log snipped, which was generated during one of this 'empty

readbraw vs. readX
Using Samba 1.9.18p10 I have found a difference between Win95 and WinNT:
opening 'Lotus Freelance' files from Win95 is really slow (about 17 kB/s
only) vs fast (~hundreds of kB/s) from WinNT.
Looking into the log (with debug level=4) I see using Win95:

context is defined by the TID or the UID.) opening remote file stdin-1234
I compared the 2.0.7 source with the 1.9.18 source and found that the
cmd_print procedure has changed significantly. In clientgen.c, the
cli_open procedure has the following statement :
CVAL(cli->outbuf,smb_com) = SMBopenX
I changed that to
CVAL(cli->outbuf,smb_com) = SMBsplopen;
and the ERRaccess error disappeared.
It is my guess that the Netgear print server does not support the
SMBopenX file SMB commands, but does support the SMBspl print
spool SMB commands. I changed the SMBclose command to

Creating new folder in a WIN95 explorer czech version.
I can't create new folder in a czech Win95 explorer on a unix using samba 1.9.18p7. The problem is that Windows exporer uses for the creation new folder a name containing characters above 128.
The explorer creates new folder in a two phases: the first It creates directory named Nov<A0> slo<A7>zka and next it gives to user
posibility to change this name. Crazy !!? The first phase

Print problem
Hi,
I have a FreeBSD 4.1.1-RELEASE and samba-2.2.4 installed in my server, I
have a printer configured and working through samba.
My problem is, when I reboot my server, my Windows 2000 with service
pack 2, can't print anymore, when I sent a printer job, there is no
error, but nothing appear on printer, the other shares area ok, and I
can get files from this shares.
Then I restart the
