Smartjog patchs
Hello,
I work for the company Smartjog (http://smatjog.com/) where we use a
modified version of Icecast. We would like to contribute back those patchs,
and hopefully have them merged in the official repository. I have posted
them on the patch tracker, so feel free to leave a comment on them.
Some of those patch are based on the work do...

The relaying source server is a shoutcast.
I don't think this is a file descriptor limitation as I can have more than 5000
clients and 65536 open fd.
Thanks in advance for any explanation.

I actually dumped these patches at my last day working for SmartJog, but
they already have a new guy (Remi) to take over maintainership. The main
idea was to be able to continue working on IceCast while out of
contract. I still have a lot of vectors where I'd like to see the
IceCast code go:
* Add refbuff pools.
* Use libCURL for everything (drop httpp).
* Impl...

[PATCHES] Smartjog PatchDump
Hello,
I work at SmarctJog.com, we have here some patches on IceCast for
performance and reliability, these are mostly client/connection/source
cleanups (a slave merge is underway, and some more good stuff (c)),
but we'd like this to be merged in before the list gets any longer.
Please find attached a list of our patches with a short desc:

Xen and live migration with VIR_MIGRATE_PERSIST_DEST
...IR_MIGRATE_PERSIST_DEST that doesn't seem to have
any effect. The domU is not defined in xend and will vanish when
destroyed or on hypervisor reboot.
Could that be a known problem or related to a bug ? I'm really out of ideas.
Any help appreciated, Thank you !

Bug#399073: xen-hypervisor-3.0.3-1-i386: dom0 crashes with a domU that define more than 6 vdb
Package: xen-hypervisor-3.0.3-1-i386
Version: 3.0.3-0-2
Severity: important
When I try to start a domU with more than 6 vdb it crash.
The first time the vm does not launch and aparently wait for the loop
device creation (some scripts/block add, udev --daemon and sleep 1 process running). And nothing happen until I Ctrl+C the xm create.
My loop module is loaded with 64 loops.

You don't check for malloc failure

On linux, the only way to get an error when calling malloc() is to
disable memory-overcommiting. On regular linux systems, this is the
_only_ way for malloc() to return NULL. If an icecast process reaches
that point, it's screwed anyway it won't be able to do

I''m afraid Btrfs raid1 will not be working before the end of the world.
Sad day.

All that said: Icecast2 is largely unmaintained these days - I don't
know if anyone is interested in going through these and figuring out
which ones are mergeable, which need fixing, and which shouldn't be
used at all.
