Tripp Lite SMART2200RMXL2U and Fedora Core 6 (NUT 2.0.3)?
Hi, I'm running Fedora Core 6 and need to monitor a Tripp Lite SMART2200RMXL2U. I've loaded the nut-2.0.3-2.1 RPM. The UPS is connected via the provided USB cable, and that much appears to work: # dmesg | grep -i tripp hiddev96: USB HID v1.10 Device [Tripp Lite TRIPP LITE SMART2200RMXL2U ] on usb-0000:00:1f.4-2 # lspci | grep -i usb 00:1f.4 USB Controller: Intel Corpor...

tripp lite SMART2200RMXL2U -- empty ups.status
Hello. I'm new to nut and don't know if I've missed something in setting it up or if my ups isn't quite supported. I'm using these: - svn version of nut (downloaded on 9/13/06) - a tripp lite SMART2200RMXL2U - debian sarge with 2.6.8 kernel - the tripplite_usb driver (newhidups says my ups is not supported) I figured out how to get the device perms correct. A sample run is included below. Any ideas why the ups.status line is empty? jeff $ sudo /usr/local/bin/upsdrvctl -DDDDD start Passwo...

Tripp light driver?
Hey, I am wondering if anyone gotten nut to work with a Tripp Light Smart Pro 2U Rack/Towers (SMART2200RMXL2U). If so which driver did you use, or what driver do you think I should try? Also when trying use a nut driver, do you have to be a nut user? Thanks, Ricky -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Introductions, questions
Hello, I have found that I need to be able to control a TrippLite SMART2200RMXL2U ups, with an external battery. I found recently after trying to communicate that many of the bits I would care about (the output ports/loads) wheren't exposed in the current driver. I also happen to have the Web/SNMP card, which allows me to change many of the settings via ssh/http interfac...

Tripplite SNMP Webcard and NUT
...I haven't been able to get automatic shutdown to work. The driver I've been using is usbhid-ups which is generic for Tripplite, but I've reviewed several other UPS driver names and some of them are dedicated for SNMP. Will the usbhid-ups work for SNMP? This is the UPS we use Tripp Lite SMART2200RMXL2U. I can supply more information if I need to, but I'm mainly just looking for a good SNMP configuration tutorial. Thank you. ...roller. Getting the 'upsc' output from a representative model should be sufficient. What would be helpful is to understand which models are similar, and whether there are any attributes we can use to differentiate between various generations of the hardware (for instance, at some point the SMART2200RMXL2U changed from the proprietary serial-over-HID to standard PDC HID). Also, we occasionally run across cosmetic errors in the output data: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.monitoring.nut.devel/6482 While this shouldn't affect the shutdown sequence, we do try to correct the returned measurement...

HP T/R2200 G2
Has anyone had any success with the HP T/R2200 G2? I have used the T/R2200 with nut a few times before and it works great, but the G2 doesn't want to talk to me. I have tried bcmxcp from 2.0.4, 2.2.2, and svn, as well as the usb drivers. Maybe the G2 isn't a rebadged powerware unit? Thanks James

Hi Everyone, New to the list. Thanks in advance for any assistance you are able to provide. I have a TrippLite SMART2200RM2UN UPS. I have installed and configured NUT as instructed on the website, and am able to monitor the status of the UPS without much problem. The only problem I am seeing is that I cannot get the machine to actually send a Low Battery ( LB ) signal. When I run
