Simple Nesting question/Odd error message
I'm attempting to analyze some survey data comparing multiple docks. I surveyed all of the slips within each dock, but as slips are nested within docks, getting multiple samples per slip, and don't really represent any meaningful gradient, slip is a random effect. There are also an unequal number of slips at each dock. I'm having syntactical issues, however. When I try

Find_all_by and find(:all) to only select certain values for a selection box
So....let''s have a look if I understood the issue: -Find_all_by is actually the same like Find(:all), however Find_all_by is much shorter and less complicated than the syntax of Find(:all) -So in my CONTROLLER it says @files = find(:all) however I don''t want to see all files displayed in my selection box, because I only want to see the foles whose mandant_id is the same like

md5sum mismatch between CentOS 6.4 and 6.5 repository
Hello, when I download python-slip-dbus-0.2.20-1.el6_2.noarch.rpm from CentOS 6.5 repository the md5sum is different than when I download same file from 6.4. wget http://msync.centos.org/centos-6/6.5/os/x86_64/Packages/ python-slip-dbus-0.2.20-1.el6_2.noarch.rpm -O python-slip-dbus-0.2.20-1.el6_2.noarch.rpm.65 wget http://msync.centos.org/centos-6/6.4/os/x86_64/Packages/

uninitialized constant error after scaffold on new Windows XP environment
I am attempting to get a working Rails programming environment setup working under XP with MySQL, RadRails and Webrick. I have been using my PowerBook but need to working on Windows environment too. I have basic functions of Ruby and Rails going. I created a really simple table and generated the scaffolding. The server starts just fine. I can browse the database succesfully in RadRails. Zap Clocking - Frame Slips - tdm400p wcfxo zttest cpu spikes spandsp
I've made some modifications to zttest in order to use it as a frame clock accuracy tester / slip detector. I'm not certain if that was it's original purpose, but it seems that a lot of folks try to use it that way. The result is something that I'm calling ztclock for now to help avoid confusion. I'm including the source at the end of this post. You can compile it by placing

Dynamic IP with SLIP...
Greetings. After searching through the mailing list archives and reading the SLIP FAQS, I can see that there is no information on the configuration of SLIP for dynamic allocation of IP's. Unfortunately, my provider (school) does not support ppp. SO...SLIP is the only way to go as far as a dialup solution is concerned. Could somebody find it within their hearts to point me to a source of

How to read IRQs and timing slips values
Hi, On a Asterisk 1.8.12 system working OK for months (>100k calls proceed), users are complaining for bad audio. My setup is: PSTN <--E1/PRI ---> Asterisk <--- E1/PRI---> Siemens HiPath <---E1/PRI ---> PSTN asterisk -rx "dahdi show version" DAHDI Version: SVN-trunk-r10414 Echo Canceller: HWEC asterisk -rx "pri show version" libpri version: 1.4.12 A

Asterisk and Mitel SX 200 Slip and Frame Errors causing Major Ala rms
We have integrated an Asterisk (TE110P) and a Mitel SX200. We usually get over 500 frame errors and over a 500 slip errors per hour. When the errors reach 1000 per hour the Mitel will take it's T1 card offline. At that point no calls can be routed from the Asterisk server to the Mitel and the TE110P reports a Yellow alarm. What can be causing all these Frame and Slip errors? We have been

T1 Timing Slips
Does anyone know how to monitor * to see if they are receiving timing slips on a span connected to a T100P card? I am seeing b-channel restarts quite often and also getting "No D-channels available" warnings from time to time. Yesterday I had all the b-channels crash during a MeetMe Conference. Not good! This PRI is connected to an Avaya Definity PBX that is onsite and located in the

SpanDSP issues (oh fun!)
I am having classic "frame slip" symptoms on 4 different systems with 4 different providers (all full PRIs, Qwest, XO, Xspedius, and First Digital are the providers). By classic I mean pages cut short. I do not hear clicks on calls however, and faxing from a fax machine plugged into the asterisk box via an fxs port (no VoIP) faxes just fine through the PRI. Also, faxing directly from

Slip Events
All, I'm using a Digium TE410P w/ Asterisk 1.2.18. Trying to connect it to our NACT STX switch via PRI, d channel is up, T1 shows normal, but I'm getting crazy errors. I rewired this thing three times, then I connected the same cable from the STX to a Cisco AS5300 (same pri settings as asterisk), and all slip events and frame sync errors went away, so the cable is good. STX --> DSX

problems accessing samba drives over a SLIP modem line
Hi, I have a wierd problem. Our samba server run on AIX and Solaris, and 1.9.16 or 17 (I think). Everything works fine on our local network. When people come in through an Ascend router using SLIP or PPP however things don't work quite so well. The wierd thing is that if the connecting machine is a Unix box, and there are other PC's on the network on the remote side, net view

FXO/FXS cpu spikes, data loss and ztclock.
Digging further into the FXO cpu spike vs clock issue, I removed the 18.432 MHZ crystal from an FXO card and replaced it with a 20.000 MHZ crystal. This of course forced the zaptel timing way off ~ 93% accurate using ztclock. I then proceeded to modify the wcfxo.c driver source code to set the proper PLL divider values to return the DAA clock back to 8 Khz. I came up with the values of N1=25,

slip r errors nortel switch
I am connected with 5ess to a nortel switch. Running dahdi 2.1.04 and libpri 1.4.7 and asterisk 1.4.22 Everything is working for a short time. The other side reports back to me that he is getting slip-r errors from the TE122P card. After to many errors (like 11) the d channel shuts down on their side. Any idea what to do about this? I have not ran into it before. Jerry

T1 Sync clarification
Hi List, After reading a bunch of the docs, list post archives, it still seems that a clear definition of how to clock the T100P card is muddy. zttool says that the link is "INTERNALLY CLOCKED", does this mean the T100P is providing clock, or does this mean the T100P is getting clock from the T1 line side (ergo getting clock from the Telco) ?? If you have sync = 0 then zttool
