...ok into? Try to find anythins in the logs but haven't found anything yet. Also google was not that helpful. The only thing i have till now is that the net command throws "system error 86" -> network password is wrong (translated from german, so the english error message might look slighly diffrent). Windows logon only state username and or password is wrong. Samba version is 4.2.9 Sernet Debian Wheezy Best regards, Tobias

ztdummy: rtc: lost some interrupts at 1024Hz.
...machines have the same kernel, motherboard, the same gcc version and the same zaptel 1.4.8. On the second machine zaptel compiles without errors and ztdummy.ko is generated but when I modprobe it I get the following error in messages: rtc: lost some interrupts at 1024Hz. Since modules sizes are slighly different I copied the working ztdummy on the new machine so the files are the same.....nothing changes!! Any help is appreciated. Thank you. -- _________________________________________________ Giorgio Incantalupo, mailto:gincantalupo at fgasoftware.com FG&A srl - http://www.fgasoftwar...

I've seen this before. Put 'acpi=off' in your kernel boot...

slightly speeding up readChar()
Hi, I was trying to have R read files faster with readChar(). That was before I noticed that readChar() is not that bad! In any case, below I suggest a few simple changes that will make readChar slightly faster. I followed readChar(useBytes=T), and tried to identify all O(N) operations, where N is the size of the file. The assumption is that for LARGE files we want to avoid any O(N) operations, and any O(N) memory allocations. Here they are: 1. In readFixedString in envir.c, an N sized vector...

[LLVMdev] lower select pass
...as well as you have been more than a year ago. It just happend to be that i wrote a small pass (albeit for 2.5) which removes the select instructions which had not been there in 2.2 8-/. Since they made my bitrotting backend sad i had to find a way to get rid of them... The attached pass is slighly inspired (concerning the skeleton) by the lower switch pass. It simply replaces the select instruction with a branch to to dummy blocks which in turn unconditionally branch back to "tail" block which contains the remaining instructions (guarded of course by a phi node). Attached is...

These attributes (especially their randomness) are all consistent with slight overheating or memory problems in the hardware. Overheating is common with AMD systems and will often only show up when doing something like FLAC encoding. If the problem is overheating, just opening up the case will often drop the system's temperature several degrees and make these kinds of p...

How to call R routines in C++`
Hi, I have some results generated in my C++ program. I 'd like to call some R functions that can test if two sample sets are from different distribution, like Kolmogorov-Smirnov and other more sophisticated Tests. I also like to draw the histograms of the two sample sets in the same plot using R. As a newbie to R, I greatly appreciate any suggestions on how to call R in C/C++ and

wildcard matching in dialplan
I'm trying to write some dialplan patterns to allow my users to control call forwarding from their handsets. Right now, I have this in extensions.conf: [forwarding] exten => _*21*X.X*,1,Macro(set-cfim,${CALLERIDNUM},${EXTEN:4}) I was hoping that this would match any string of the form *21*nnn*, where nnn is 3 or more digits. But Asterisk seems to ignore the final X*, and allows it to

Need AMD debugging help
To all who have an AMD + Windows based PC: I have gotten a few similar bug reports about encoding errors with FLAC. The common features are: - Repeatedly encoding the same file with verify will have verify errors some of the time (looks like aroung 50%) and the verify errors will occur in different places each time. - This is happening on AMD PCs running Windows. More reports come from

AEC with different soundcards
...; method to?resample and put my audio signals in synch. It worked perfectly?in XP machines using a SoundMax?audio card, but it failed in other XPs using Realtek cards. As seen on http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/speex-dev/2008-September/006889.html?my application?continously checked my AEC level to slighly modify resample frequency, but convergence was impossible with?that audio?cards. Then, I used ASIO (through port-audio library) in those machines, and?AEC worked again. But this solution wasn?t practical (user?must install a special driver) so?i can?t say if?this method will work or not on *every...

converting factor to numeric
Hola! The R FAQ says: 7.12 How do I convert factors to numeric? It may happen that when reading numeric data into R (usually, when reading in a file), they come in as factors. If f is such a factor object, you can use as.numeric(as.character(f)) to get the numbers back. More efficient, but harder to remember, is as.numeric(levels(f))[as.integer(f)] In any case, do not call as.numeric()
