Hello list Does anybody know of any way to create an index of all the possible combinations of variables (factors) in a data frame? ie for 3 factors A, B & C we have A B C AB AC BC ABC which equates to columns 1, 2, 3, 1:2, (1,3), 2:3 and 1:3. I realise that a function like model.matrix does this, but how to get the seqence of the index? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have gotten Samba to work but them came up with a problem. It is working on a mchine with the class C address 198.xxx.xxx.xxx. Any PC's with that on that IP address can see the server just fine. However, we also have another class C 207.xxx.xxx.xxx and folks on that one cannot see the server. We have seen this problem before and NetBeui solved that one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I have gone over the examples and can't figure this out: rho<-.77 text(x=.05,y=.5,paste(expression(rho),rho)) I was hoping to get this to print a Greek rho with 0.77 beside it.
