Dynamic Linear Models for Times Series - Implemented?

An index of all possible combinations of variables in a data fram e
...tors) in a data frame? ie for 3 factors A, B & C we have A B C AB AC BC ABC which equates to columns 1, 2, 3, 1:2, (1,3), 2:3 and 1:3. I realise that a function like model.matrix does this, but how to get the seqence of the index? Any help would be greatly appreciated. number plot symbol in scatterplot?
If I make a scatterplot and several (e.g. 5) points lie on top of each other at a given x,y location I would like the plot symbol to be the number of superimposed points (e.g. "5"). Could someone please tell me how to do this in R? Thanks! Bill Simpson

Simpsons: H&R dsound.dll
I've been having a problem recently with Simpsons Hit & Run regarding the sound. I installed the game just fine, but had major sound distortions that made it impossible to play with sound. After checking AppDB, another user reported the same problem and I tried changing the dsound library to native (windows). I imported the dsound.dll file fr...

Various people have said they are going to UKUUG and I wanted to remind people if they are about and want to discuss puppet, facter, etc they can come along. Entry is not restricted to UKUUG attendees, I''ll try and make myself obvious by having some puppet related paraphenalia. http://www.ukuug.org/events/spring2009/social/ Paul --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~

one problem about how to hold graphic with R
Sorry to disturb you, but can you help me to solve one little problem? I want to draw a graphic after another with R but I cannot find the first one after that. Do you know the command to hold the graphic with R? I remember with Matlab you may use "hold on". Thanks. -- Baohua Yang Email:yangbaohua@gmail.com [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

"predict"-fuction for metaMDS (vegan)
...value is missing and I can't call it 0 as 0 stands for east and west. Therefore I kicked all releves with missing environmental variables. Both, metaMDS and envfit then work without problems. Now I want to bring the releves with missing environmetal variables back to my ordination-plot. Gavin Simpson gave me the advice to use the predict-function for the same missing value problem when I was calculating a cca. This worked without problem. As my species data was recorded in Braun-Blanquet-numbers (ordinal scale) I would prefer to calculate a NMDS. Does anybody know a similar function to the pre...
