Broadvoice inbound issues
My SIP seems to be configured correctly as I can dial out and my minutes
show up on my broadvoice bill, but whenever anyone calls my broadvoice #
inbound they just get a busy signal. I dont get anything in the logs saying
anything came in from broadvoice at all.
Has anyone had this/simmilar problem with inbound from Broadvoice? Any
suggestions?
Thanks
Neri

Partitioning an nxp Time series matrix
Hi,
I have an nxp data set of time series. For my final year project, I would
like to partition this data set into a smaller number of units ( < n). Where
each of the units contains time series that move closely together (i.e. in
unison), and the "simmilarity" (in terms of occurence & amplitudes of peaks
and troughs) between the segregated units is "low".
I know these are slightly "fuzzy" terms, but I want to get to the essence of
what I'm trying to achieve (time series partitioning), without throwing in
words lik...

question about hierclust {multiv}
my major is bioinformatics, and i'm trying to cluster ( agglomerate
the closest pari of observations ) in R.
i have already got my own similarities metric, but do not know how to
clust it based on similarities instead of dissimilarities.
since the help document of hierclust mentions the parameter "sim",
which seems good to me, but it doesn't appear in the code of
hierclust()

PRI problem, pri_fixup_principle: Call specified, but not found?
..., the receiving side is changing the B channel at
proceeding. It seems this sometimes breaks some logic
(pri_fixup_principle) and then the hangup kind of breaks, release is not
answered and a restart cycle is triggered (by remote side).
Anyone can help me debug this ? I've seen many posts with simmilar
issues but no answer/solution.
This is happening on Asterisk 1.2.16 + libpri 1.2.4 on a sangoma A104D.
On a general side, where can I find a document (other than sources :)
to start digging where the Zap->pri mapping is done and how,
or at leaset what pri_fixup_principle is supposed to do...

Routing through dummy interfaces?
...say...
eth0 is 10.53.62.2/30
dummy0 is 192.168.255.1/24
dummy1 is 192.168.255.254/24
eth1 is 192.168.1.1/24
eth2 is 192.168.2.1/24
eth3 is 192.168.3.1/24
How do I set up routing so traffic to/from the internet gets routed
through the dummy interfaces?
If this is not possible, how might i achive a simmilar effect?

xen usage monitoring (munin plugin)
Dear list,
as my Xen3 server is finaly becomming ready for production I was
wondering if anyone has written a xen usage monitoring/logging tool?
Something like xm top, but with continuose logging to a (rr)database.
Or a munin plugin?
I can''t remember seeing anything simmilar on the list.
BTW: where does xm top get the NETTX(k) and NETRX(k) from?
For a munin plugin I''d imagin two modes:
- just monitor cpu usage off all domains (dom0 and domU) in one graph.
This can be parsed from xm list, or as suggested 2004/12/xx using some
more low level xen api. But...

limit number of TCP connections.
Hi all. I have a simple question. Is that a way to limit the number os TCP or UDP connection of a single HOST in my network?
For exemple:
I have a host with IP 192.168.1.202 and he is using edonkey, Kazaa, and Bittorrent at the same time, and he also is infected by a virus that opens more than 500 TCP ports at the same time. So, i want to limit that host to be able to open no more then 30 TCP

Dovecot and horde issues
Hello,
First time poster to this list, please be kind.
I am having difficulties trying to get the current stable version of
horde's imp webmail to work correctly using dovecot 1.0rc15. I am
using a pre-release version of SME Server 8 which runs on top of
CentOS 5. I have also tried using the 1.0 release of dovecot as well.
What is happenning is that when I login to imp, I don't

[LLVMdev] Python Backend
I'm very interested in this patch. Could you, Roel, upload it somewhere or
maybe put your code to github or something simmilar?
Additional - you're fixing it - could you please provide a little more
information - what should I read to get more informations about writing not
hardware but software backend in LLVM? (Of course the code analysis is one
way, but maybe there is other also).

VT-d interrup remapping errata workaround
All,
just having spotted the backport of Linux commit 03bbcb2e I notice
a certain discrepancy with the Xen commit having the same purpose
as well as with the actual specification updates:
The Linux solution keys off of device IDs 3403 and 3406, as listed in
the specification update, but this way fails to cover the X58 chipset,
which has - under different numbers (62 and 69) - the same errata

NAT+portfw failure
...ewall, get''s NATTED, and portforwarded. However, the portforwarded
destination is on the same interface as the packet came from, and this then
generates an icmp unreachable.
Is there a way to allow this (on linux 2.2). If not, would 2.4 NAT of the
destination address work or have the same simmilar interface problem?

adding printers from netlogon script
I don't know the final answer BUT if you have something simmilar to a
cyber-cafe LAN (I mean, users use all the computers, and maybe some
users come back to login with the same name) then you have to install a
printer only once in a computer, loging as the administrator and
installing drivers. Then what users will have to do is JUST add the
printer without...

[LLVMdev] Python Backend
Hi,
I have a version of the old CBackend which is working with the current
trunk.
I am in the progress of rewriting it into a new version but that project
is not going as fast as I would hope as I have been distracted by other
tasks with higher priority lately.
Anyway, for those interested, I can provide patches, optionally
separated into several parts (core, testing, misc).
I am afraid that
