Nokia 32 Terminal
Hi, Does anyone have some experience with Nokia 32 Terminal (it is an analog GSM Gateway)? After a configuration I can make only incoming calls, I'm not able to do any outgoing. Nokia signalize an error (4 short tones), when I try to phone someone. I tried postpaid simcards as well as prepaid simcards with the same result. Does anyone try to connect this gateway to Asterisk PBX if so what were the results? iphone
Buying an iphone on contract/PAYG then using it abroad Hi this is my first post and I'm seriously looking at buying an iphone. I'm currently living and working in Jordan for the next 12 months. What do you think is the best way of buying an iphone bearing in mind I use a local simcard here in Jordan. Are PAYG phones purchased from o2 locked? I guess contract ones are. I've been tempted to purchase off ebay but the prices for 3G's are way beyond reasonable ofers.

Timecondition fallthrough on 2nd GSM Modem, First modem and ZAP's are all fine
Hello, we have an asterisk (1.4.21.2) with ZAP and mISDN channels, the mISDN are 2 incoming GSM Modems, each with 2 simcards. No, the mISDN line one and two are fine, but when I get a call on line 3 something with the time is wrong. Timeconditions fall through to off-hours even if the time of the call is clearly inside business hours, here a log excerpt: [Aug 26 11:04:36] VERBOSE[3112] logger.c: Really destroying SIP...

...ibank cash machines that accepts cash withdrawals from the major cards such as VISA and Mastercard. But it is a good idea to bring cash. Also note that cell phones (european) are not very compatible with the Japanese network. There are possibilities for 3G phones to hire a phone and put your simcard in there. At the airport (both Kansai and Narita) there are information and places were this can be arranged (to a cost of course). Food: well - japanese food is great (wether it is sushi, sashimi, tempura, sukiyaki, teriyaki.... Eating out is not that much differently prized than any large eu...

"Follow me" with Asterisk that detects cellphone voicemail and similar announcements
Hi all, sorry if the subject is a bit confusing, but I just couldn?t think of a good way of better describing the situation? Basically, I travel a lot and have several SIM cards for my phone from local carriers. What I?d like to do now is to setup Asterisk, so that people who want to reach me just have to dial one number which forwards the call to all my cellphone numbers in turn. I?m still
