Rotated Logs Per SIGXFSZ every few seconds
Hello, I recently installed Asterisk 1.2.2 on one of our servers and it was doing fine until this morning when it started to Rotate the logfiles(event_log and messages[/var/log/asterisk/]) every few seconds: "Rotated Logs Per SIGXFSZ (Exceeded file size limit)" They would never get more than 6000 bytes big before they rotated and it just kept rotating until I ended up with 10000 messages and event_log files in my /var/log/asterisk directory(messages.0 to messages.9999). the logger doesn't seem to know what to do after...

core dumped messages from tune2fs
I decided to start using ext3. My kernel 2.4.15p9. I downloaded and build util-linux-2.11m and e2fsprogs 1.25. I compiled ext3 in the kernel. I started converting my filesystems and thing went ok for the first few. I then started getting the following on each additional filesystem. [root@joker /root]# tune2fs -j /dev/hdc4 tune2fs 1.25 (20-Sep-2001) Creating journal inode: done This filesystem

Ext3 and LFS - possible? fatal?
Has anyone tried LFS (ie >2G files support) and Ext3 together? Are there good reasons why this should/should not work? I see the RH enterprise kernel patch set specifically does not attempt both lfs and ext3, but the lfs patches themselves touch some reasonably localised parts of ext2, so I would hope (without having dived in there to test), that the ext3 changes would mirror that

asterisk logger - urgent!!!
Hi, Since yesterday my Asterisk 1.2.3 is displaying the following message every few seconds >Asterisk Event Logger restarted >Rotated Logs Per SIGXFSZ (Exceeded file size limit) This causes my log files (verbose, queue_log) to become huge with lots of logger rotate messages, but I don't know which files is exceeding size limit, since even if I delete all log files I still get this message. Any way, I have plenty of disk space and couldn'...

chkrootkit 0.46 reboots FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE-p8
Hello, Please, don't use chkrootkit 0.46 on production machines. The "chkproc" process sends a SIGXFSZ (25) signal to init, that interprets this signal as a "disaster" and reboots after a 30s sleep. I'm contacting the chkrootkit maintainer to fix this problem. Sorry, Cordeiro

Hello, I have configured Dovecot 1.2.12 with Postfix 2.6.5 and everything is working fine. But tomorrow I wanted to run IMAP ALCs and from log I found that this plugin is conflicting with parameter mail_full_filesystem_access = yes in my config. But when I set mail_full_filesystem_access = no it stops authorization for postfix with this message: <pasek at valbek.cz>: Command died with
