Now, if I modify:
fileinto :copy INBOX.Gmail;
The message is sent to INBOX.Gmail and also copied to INBOX
How can I avoid such behavior ?
Why do you have the vacation script in a sieve_after rule?
Regards,
Stephan.
Well,
I'm using roundcube with 2 plugins ( sieverules + vacation_sieve)
1st one used to create filters for incoming messages and 2nd one just
"out of office" response.
Because of the limitation of sieverules plugin related to definition of
"out of office" response I'm using 2nd one.
So, I will have 2 .sieve files ( filter...

problem with dovecot and sieve
Hi
We've been using dovecot with great success so far. We are trying to
add sieve support for our users.
We enabled managesieve and users can define rules from the webmail
(roundcube) with sieverules plugin for roundcube.
Everything goes ok, but here's a problem I couldn't figure yet.
When I define a redirect rule, the mail is forwarded but a local copy
is stored too. Weird thing is that the logs say redirecting failed but
the mail gets forwarded. Let me show you some of this (persona...

Smartsieve patch on Dovecot wiki?
...another location to get this fix? I've googled
around, but not found an alternate location.
We're running:
dovecot-1.2.3
dovecot-1.2-sieve-0.1.12
dovecot-1.2-managesieve-0.11.9
The managesieve server is working fine for other ManageSieve clients
such as Roundcube's managesieve and sieverules plugins, it is only
smartsieve I am having problems with. Any pointers are appreciated.
Cheers,
Ron

web interface for user creation/vacation
What are the best web interfaces for user/domain management, perhaps one that also allows individual users to edit vacation msgs?
Right now I'm using a postfixadmin based mysql control panel. Curious what is the better stuff out there that people are using with dovecot/sieve these days?
Are there any decent front-ends to setup/manage per-user sieve filters?

pigeonhole and roundcube install problem
Hi,
I've installed sieve and managesieve(pigeonhole) on qmail and
dovecot(v2.0.11).
I've install sieverules on Roundcube. I can see the plugin on the
webinterface, and i can add rules.
But there is a problem:
I've put this .qmail file on "deneme" user's home directory according to
[1].
|/var/qmail/bin/preline -f /usr/local/libexec/dovecot/dovecot-lda -d
$EXT@$USER

sieve vacation
Hello,
I set up pigeonhole on a server and am using roundcube's sieverules to
create a set of rules. When using the vacation feature, I can see in
the logs that dovecot is sending the vacation response, but the
recipient never receives it.
What method does dovecot use to send the response? Does it use the
sendmail binary, does it use the mail command, does it connec...

Possible pigeonhole dealing with negative numerical values
Using dovecot 2.2.9 and pigeonhole 0.4.2
The system is a Xen VM running Arch Linux x86_64, presently up to date,
on an XFS filesystem in an LVM2 partition. After recently updating my
mail server, I found that a sieve rule I had which would check
X-Spam-Score for a value over a certain number, in my case 2.5. In my
most recent update, negative values would trip the rule.
Here's the rule in

Can only enable Sieve scripts not edit them (Roundcube)
Hello,
(my first post so be gentle)
I will be posting this to the Roundcube mailing list too, but thought it worth asking here as well.
I have a Roundcube installation running Apache with Dovecot and Sieve.
When logged in to Roundcube, a user can see the Sieve scripts and enable or disable them but NOT edit them or create new scripts.
In other words, Dovecot will happily EDIT the script to

simple steps with sieve
Today is my first day with sieve, so be gentle :) I'm trying to set up a
pretty webmail interface to our Dovecot 1.2.4 server using roundcube.
The managesieve config + roundcube 'managesieve' plugin work fine, and
I'm able to use roundcube's UI to generate .dovecot.sieve files.
We use winbind + LDAP lookups to do some exotic mail rewriting...

Can't get sieve/managedsieve working
Hi,
I am running dovecot 2.1.7 for a while, with roundcube webmail frontend
0.9.5 . Now I wanted to add sieve to filter mails. Unfortunately most
tutorials are for dovecot 1.x but I'm running dovecot 2 on debian
wheezy.
I could upload some scripst with sieve-connect, checked and activated
them. When I try to edit filters with thunderbird sieve plugin 0.2.2
nothing happens. If I try to

Problem with managesieve proxy

server to the new one.
I have a mysql proxy table that directs inbound IMAP and LMTP connections to
the correct server, works great. Managesieve connections are not working
through the proxy using either with the sieverules plugin for RoundCube or the
Sieve plugin for Thunderbird. If I point them directly at the actual dovecot
server everything works fine, so I must have something wrong in my proxy setup.
This is what I get in the maillogs when I try to connect to the managesieve proxy:
