channel offset between Asterisk and PBX
Hi
We interfaced our ASCOTEL PBX to Asterisk. by EuroISDN PRI , DSS1
It works fine on channels 1- 15, but on 17-31 the miststood each other.
Asterisk speaks in Timeslots, the PBX in B-channels
The signalling is ok, but the bridging is shifted. The first incoming
connection is bridged to "nirwana" also no indication is hearable,
calling a second internal subcribes bridges them to the

THIRD POST: Samba Authentication Issue
Hi Samba List,
We are using samba since many years in our Solaris environment.
I have got a question concerning the authentication:
We are building up new branch offices. Every branch office is
connected thru a vpn link to our main company. The people
in the branch offices have got a samba file server to work with.
The authetication is realised with Microsoft Active Directory,

dsync, a zero-way synchronisation tool?
Hi folks!
I have set up dsync replication with SSH according to
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Replication with the exception of having system users
and calling doveadm dsync-server directly from authorized_keys, because the
wrapper script posted on the above site is needless (at least in 2.2.10).
However, while the two instances connect well to each other, no synchronisation
is performed at all, the

Building LLVM with LLVM
Hi folks!
I'm trying to build LLVM with LLVM on Ubuntu using the commands below.
Building it with the GNU stuff (cpp, gcc, g++ and binutils packages) works,
but after removing it, moving LLVM to /usr/local and symlinking /usr/bin/ld
to ld.lld, I'm getting the following:
=== snip ===
-- The C compiler identification is Clang 8.0.1
-- The CXX compiler identification is Clang 8.0.1

I'm trying to get rid of any dependency on libgcc*, but without success so
far. The following commands were executed on a freshliy installed and updated
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS:

sudo apt-get install build-essential libffi-dev cmake # see aptget.txt for packages installed
sudo mv /usr/local /usr/local.orig
git clone https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project.git
cd llvm-project; git

Cross-compiling asterisk-1.4 for Debian on a slug
Hi folks!
I planned to put asterisk-1.4 on my slug (one of these embedded devices).
Since i don't want to compile it natively on this slow processor, i need
a cross-compile toolchain. I tried out several ways such as manually
compiling binutils and gcc, or using scratchbox. All of these with the
result that i got binaries for machines except the one i wanted! :(
I then have been given a link
